We booked a normal room and the staff gave us a suite as a welcome gift. The day we checked in, got champagne and fruits with a nice welcome letter delivered to our room. Just an amazing experience. Top-class service, unbelievable place and atmosphere.

Our stay at Horizons Bakurtsikhe was nothing short of magical. Tucked away in a serene and scenic location, this place is a true haven for nature lovers. We had the entire property to ourselves, making it feel like a private retreat, hosted by the warm and wonderful Natalie – an exceptional host who made our stay truly special. The cottage was beautifully designed – cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. Waking up to the breathtaking view of the mountains and the stunning natural landscape was an experience we’ll never forget. It felt like stepping into a postcard. Dinner at Horizons was absolutely sumptuous, beautifully prepared, and bursting with local flavor. Breakfast was equally impressive, with a generous spread featuring delicious pancakes, shakshuka, and much more. It was a true feast, served with care and hospitality. The amenities added to the charm – a lovely pool and a relaxing sauna made our evenings perfect. We were also joined by two well-behaved, friendly dogs who quietly kept us company, adding to the homely and peaceful atmosphere without ever being intrusive. The place is magnificent. It's located by the city-wall looking over the mountain range. The owners are very amiable and warm people. They produce their own honey, wine and have their own hens (hence eggs as well).

First of all the people in charge of the estate, they do everything for us to feel great. Our stay was the best we had in Georgia. We loved the room,the view, the lobby (with fire place), the restaurant,the wine cellar, the garden and the wine. I recommend to try saperavi qveri, kisi qveri and the fantastic desert wine similar with Sherry

We enjoined the stay very much! The owners were extremely helpful and hospitable. View from the room and overall facility was great. We also ordered a dinner - traditional Georgian cuisine, very delicious! And vine testing and excursion in the cellar were super nice - vines that are produced here are one of the best in Georgia!

We (3 friends) were stay at Guest House Velio for one day, we met a wonderfull host, a realy great location, quiet, spacious, clean, comfortable with all utilities we neded. The hosts were very friendly, helped us in everything we need, booked for us a wine tasting dinner at Numisi wine cellar, that was a great experience. Also we had a fantastic breakfast. We can only recomand sincerely.
