Alykes is an absolute gem of a place. Beautiful beaches. Very friendly locals. Love the mode of transport in the evening. Plenty of restaurants and food is delicious. It has enough to keep everyone happy. Not over commercialised. and not too busy. Just nice. We went early June. Temperature perfect. Fishandia and paradosiako restaurants are well worth a visit. Very spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. It's set at the rear of the salt flats and is a 10 mins stroll to the beach and the centre. Quiet location, a great supermarket a few mins walk away. Had a warm welcome from Argiris, showed us around and made us feel welcome. Would definitely return, a great find in Alykes ! Ours had a view of the Alykes lake and of the mountains. The staff is really great, very welcoming, hard working and always available to meet your needs! Close to the sea, spectacular view from the room, quiet area, hearing the waves all night long and overall very clean rooms and nice and very friendly people who manage and take care of this place.
