Hosts are friendly and welcoming.The room was clean and spacious with the most beautiful view out to Kefalonia. The beds were comfy, lots of storage for belongings during the stay, adequate self catering facilities, bathroom was fine. Linen changed and room cleaned every other day. I only ate at Clear Horizon once but the food was good. Perfect location, steps down to the most beautiful clean bay with clear waters. Very quiet location but enough restaurants and shops near by, 30 minute walk to Alykanas if you want more

A Boutique Paradise – Contessina Suites & Spa, Zakynthos Our stay at Contessina Suites & Spa was absolutely unforgettable – truly one of the best boutique hotels we’ve ever experienced. From the very beginning, we felt the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, thanks especially to the incredibly kind and attentive staff. We were lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade to a suite with a private pool and were warmly welcomed with a bottle of wine and a fresh fruit platter. At the end of our stay, we were even gifted a bottle of Contessina’s own olive oil – such a thoughtful gesture that made our departure bittersweet. Breakfast was a daily delight – fresh, varied, and always served with a smile. Every morning felt like a warm embrace. The on-site gym is small but modern, and for those wanting more space or equipment, the large and well-equipped gym at the sister hotel is just perfect. Highly recommended! This hotel combines luxury, soul, and genuine hospitality. We’ll be dreaming of Contessina for a long time to come.

Our stay was just amazing! We had 7 fabulous nights and cannot wait to go back again. The whole experience was made even more special by the wonderful staff - especially in the restaurants - Gaia Restaurant - Peggy, Konstantinos and Eugine - and the fabulous Osteria Restaurant with spectacular food and setting, not to mention the great live entertainment and the truly amazing staff - Noni and Konstantina - who made us feel so welcome and looked after us so well. Nico at the front entrance was always there to greet us with a friendly smile and chat, and Vasslis the Operations Manager made time to speak with guests and it was a real pleasure to meet him. Guests are treated like friends and many guests have returned year after year and we can see why.

This hotel is lovely and the staff is amazing! Ever since we entered the property we were spoiled with special treats and welcomed with big smiles. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and the reception team works really hard to attend your every need. If you need to rent a car, book a tour, or anything you can imagine just asked them! Excellent food all round, superb quality accommodation and really wonderful staff. I rarely write reviews but this hotel deserves one as it was excellent and epitomises what you would hope for (but often don't get) from a 5 start resort. A special mention must go to the staff who seemed really motivated to ensure you had the best possible time. We stayed on an all inclusive basis and food in both of the themed restaurants and the main restaurant were top class, range of cocktails available were great as well. There are plenty of swimming pool areas and sunbeams and balinese beds were ample in quantity. The perfect adult only 5 star holiday for rest and relaxation

The hotel is situated on a sandy beach. Localisation is very practic, especially if you travel with children: coming into the sea through only few small stones (you don't need water-shoes, there are no algae, etc.), water is clean and not deep. It is also possible to rent sunbeds with umbrella for 20 Euro (in the price of hotel there are only sunbeds near to swimming pool included), but you can take also your own blanket and ley to the sand. Traveling from airport there is possibility of taking taxi (guaranted 25 Euro) or public bus in front of exit from the airport, near to colour map (3 Euro), but it comes only 6 times for the day and you need to change the bus for another (2 Euro) at Zakhyntos bus center, where conection is more often, usually every 60-90 minutes (direction Tsilivi, Tragaki).  You finally get off at "Tsilivi 1" bus stop and go 10 minutes on foot. Check-in is to do in the previous building of Tsilivi Hotels  where you also receive your breakfast and any help if you need (reception of Palazetto is permanently closed). The staff is helpful, towels new everyday, my room was eclxactly like on pictures.

    Amoudi is such a friendly place and will make you want to yearn to come back again and again .It is a quiet place but will make you welcome and is a beach lovers paradise .Plenty of good quality places to dine out at reasonable prices. Met numerous people who were regulars at the resort and I can understand why they come back again and again. I am hoping to do the same myself at my earliest opportunity and will advise other friends to do the same. One way I judge a holiday is how sad you are to leave and we were all pretty low.

    The village is very small but quiet.

    The village is very small but quiet. The beach is not deep, there are no beach resorts but some good places with swimming pools and beach bars. With a half-hour trip you can reach every point of Zakynthos. If you have a car, the location is ideal for visiting the whole island.

    Amoudi is slowly building-up its tourist industry but...

    Amoudi is slowly building-up its tourist industry but remains quieter and less built-up than the rest of the island's resorts especially those on the southern and south-eastern beaches. It's truly lovely with quite small beaches (not all sandy). All Zakynthian roads are chaotic and Amoudi is no different. Always walk facing oncoming traffic and at night have reflector or small torch handy! Tap water is not suitable for drinking (or boiling we were told) so we used bottled water for drinks etc. There are no shortages of excellent restaurants most with amazing sea views.

    The host was great, he made our stay very comfortable, he was very helpful. The apartment was very nice, spacious and clean, the view was amazing, de balcony was a great place to relax and enjoy. I definitely recommend this place and if we decide one day to go back to Zakynthos, we're definitely staying again at Playa del Zante. The location is also very good,with very good restaurants and supermarkets close by.

    The owner was very kind and was always trying to get us comfortable. The view from the studio is amazing, to be able to see the sea from your bed is very relaxing. We enjoyed the balcony for breakfast and dinner every day. Perfect stay in Zakynthos ♥️
