We rented a villa on the hills above Fikhtion and it is worth staying in just for the view, the pool and the villa itself. Fikhtion is a small town with not much to offer. But if you have a car it is easy to get to nearby locations in the Argolid such as the Archaeological site at Mycenae, Argos and even Nafplion. We ate at a restaurant in town but it is right on the main road so the experience was marred by the speeding cars and trucks just feet from our table. There is a well-stocked but small grocery store in town so if you have a place with a kitchen it's much more pleasant to cook your own meals and also significantly less expensive. If you can rent a nice villa as a homebase it would not be bad to stay there longer than than the two nights we did.Guest review byBiggs
