Once we arrived at my room, she handed over the keys. The host also graciously offered us an upgrade to a larger room for the first night, and allowed us to move closer to the pool once availability had opened up. The staff was very friendly and it was a lovely welcome to Naxos. The hotel was a short walk into town and you can cut across the water front. Our room was not in the main building, but we would recommend having a coffee there to look out at the view. The hotel was in a great location for us as we had quads to explore the island - the bus stop is also right across the road from the hotel which is very helpful.
