    Close to all most important areas and lots of places of interest - restaurants and bars 15 min by car away RECOMMENDED rent a car - not pedestrian friendly - also very hilly areas (as mostly everywhere on the island) the car will permit you to access lots of different areas

    We went to a couple of places, Chania old port is nice but...

    We went to a couple of places, Chania old port is nice but getting there along with 50,000 other cars with very limited parking and crazy one way systems was just not a lot of fun. Our property also recommended the Agia Marina which was very spread out but much easier to get to. Everywhere we went the restaurants were so friendly, all delightful and amazing I think you would be hard pushed to find a bad one!

    A city with beautiful views and beaches, ideal for families...

    A city with beautiful views and beaches, ideal for families with small children, 10 minutes' drive to the airport but also many attractions nearby. Lots of beaches, a monastery with wine tasting. The distance to Chania is also 10 minutes by car and there are plenty of restaurants, bazaars, beautiful old streets, especially charming in the evening.

    It was a very cozy atmosphere, beautiful well-kept area, close to the beach and several restaurants with delicious Mediterranean food. A very beautiful pool, but during my stay (second half of September) it was under renovation. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious and the staff was always friendly and made you feel at home.

    We arrived late at 01h00.

    We arrived late at 01h00. Efi and Spiros waited up for us and met us with big smiles and a friendly welcome. They had stocked the fridge so we would have food for breakfast and added a few extras for the week. They were helpful, discreet and available when we needed them through our our stay. The apartment is stunning with a huge terrace and a breathtaking view. I can heartily recommend Kalathas sunset villa!! We would love to go back!!!

    road to the beach very busy, a lot of cars, lack of the pavement, the beach is really great but not many restaurants, only one shop in the area, no ATM , if you don't have a car to go to the centre of Kalathas there are not many things to choose from. There is bus going every 2 hours going to Chania and Stavros which helps, if you want just to relax the location is good but not for people who would like to party

    This property is amazing and the host is super! We received keys from a lady who showed us everything in the property. We had at our disposal perfect apartment fully furnished and equipped for 7-day stay. Because we arrived early in Saturday we had complementary products for breakfast. Everything in the apartment is new and a huge veranda was a nice place to take coffee and a drink. I recommend this property to anybody who wants to spend a pleasant holiday in Crete. And a good beach is nearby to spend a day ad enjoy the see.

    The staff is extremely friendly, the hotel is super clean and beautiful! Right next to the beach, the view is absolutely amazing. The pool is huge! Breakfast was delicious, with different options every day, and the restaurant food was insanely good! After dinner they bring you blakavas and a little bottle with a local liquor as a treat, it's so thoughtful and so delicious 😋 Would definitely recommend and definitely stay there again 😊

    We had a wonderful stay at Waterlily Hotel Apartments in Kalathas, Chania. The apartment was very spacious, with a lovely balcony offering a great sea view. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach. Breakfast was amazing – freshly cooked every morning and truly delicious. Angela, the hostess, was exceptionally kind and helpful, making the whole experience warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!

    Our stay at Creta Vitalis was even better than expected. The staff was super nice and helpful, the rooms are cleaned every day and the view on the sea and mountains is beautiful. The hotel is super nicely decorated. The location of the hotel is also really nice, close to a beautiful and not too crowded beach. There are also really good and typical tavernas close by. We recommend 100%!
