Very relaxing place to stay before flying out from Athens. Nice pool and little beach. Delicious buffet dinner and breakfast. Kind staff. Clean rooms, spacious, sea view. Our 4-year-old son loved it and we had a relaxing time together.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We though we forgot something in the room. They went to check and quickly called is back. The room was very clean, very comfortable bed. We did not have the for breakfast but the few pastries we took with us were fresh and tasty.

The property was close to the airport, the shuttle came 10 minutes after I notified I was ready for pickup. I was met late at night by a courteous staff member who checkered in, took my breakfast order to be delivered to my room in the morning! She also ordered a return cab to the airport the next day. All went perfectly.

Everything!! Each of the staff members is simply charming, pleasant, kind and professional. Every question or request is answered with a smile and patience. One night I wanted to buy something to eat and everything was already closed, it was really late. The receptionist asked me to wait a few minutes and just went into the kitchen to make me a sandwich!! This is really not something that is taken for granted, and I must say that the entire staff at this hotel gives this warm feeling! The hotel itself is beautiful. It feels like a quiet boutique hotel with a warm atmosphere. Its location is simply excellent. Right in the city center, first line to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and cafes right below the hotel. Opposite the hotel there is a pharmacy, a kiosk that is open until 2 am. The rooms are very clean quiet, the bed is very comfortable and the room is modern and tastefully decorated. . The sunrises that can be seen from the balcony are simply unbelievble. I have no doubt I will come back here again!

Clean, comfortable and modern accommodation close to Athens airport, would definitely stay here again. Breakfast is not provided, but the best bakery in the world (no exaggeration, and I've been in many) is just a couple of minutes walk away.....if I lived nearby, I'd be several pounds heavier!

    Very quiet place to rest after your cruise! Even the taxi drivers were having difficulty finding the hotel. Unfortunately we won't be visiting again ! Absolutely would not recommend it if you want a fun packed holiday with great quality food and drink !

    Lovely hotel and very clean. Breakfast very good. The pool area and gardens were lovely. The only downside was there were a few people / families around the pool that were not guests taking up sun beds. Overall excellent hotel with a few restaurants within easy walk.

    Very small town but good selection of bars, restaurants and hotels. Always the sound of the sea gently lapping the shore. A short walk out of town takes you to a smart restaurant called Samia and a lovely rustic Greek taverna serving fresh fish and both right by the sea.

    We were welcomed with a smile and warm greetings. Informed us of the times food would be served, for evening and breakfast, asked if we needed anything, if so please ask. Helpful with directions to local restaurants. The hotel was super clean and fresh, our room had good view of the sea, clean, bed was comfortable.

    Quiet local area with a couple of places to eat out. Good food and a small local shop. The hotel is around 40 minutes to Athens town, taxi's are between 35 to 40€. 48€ if you book through the hotel. Local bus is hourly but to get to Athens you'd need to change and then get a train. We only went into Athens for one day via taxi and crammed everything in. If you book a return taxi it's cheaper. Athens Site-seeing, markets and local shops are fabulous. We walked around Mati but it's in the suburbs so no site-seeing. but our holiday was to relax and Mati hotel was perfect for that. We'd go again.

    We liked the pool and beach view from our room. We liked the outdoor dining option overlooking the beautiful Aegean Sea and good waiter service. We really liked our early morning swim in the lovely warm sea, on our last day in Greece before the long flight back to Australia. That was a highlight. I would recommend Mati as a relaxing option outside of the hectic city centre of Athens. I wished we’d stayed there longer.

    The NLH is a very well run hotel concept and NLH Mati Seafront seems to be a well run hotel. Service-minded staff, cleanliness at the heart through-out. We thought the house and its facilities worked well. Breakfast was excellent. All in all, thanks to all the staff! We do not comment on the pool area, quite a small one, as we are sea lovers and did not use the pool services. The sea was quite rough but we could still enjoy the sea, even if the swimming was a bit difficult in those days of our visit.

    A beautiful hotel of international standard with commanding view of marina and sea. A nice conference venue! Comfortable bed and great pillows. Staff are very attentive and pre-arrival communication was prompt and helpful. A nice in-house dinner menu at reasonable prices. A good breakfast. Closer to the airport than Central Athens so good for a pre-flight stay.

    Very welcoming and cute place, went there only for one night after coming back from Mykonos at Rafinas port. The girls i've met were very kind and guided me in the area, i loved all the flowers when you enter and in this part of the city. Went on a little stroll to the beach before taking the plane this morning, very quiet area.
