The place is suitable if you are visiting Greece on budget.
The place is suitable if you are visiting Greece on budget. It is very crowded and it s a nightmare to find a parking spot. We visited few traditional tavernas( Ouzeri Las Pas,Villa Ella ( has live music) and had very tasty greek dishes :tzatziki , Greek salad, fried zuchini, fried white bait, aubergine salad, grilled sardines, stuffed peppers, chicken souvlaki. I found Pedkochori too busy.
I found Pedkochori too busy. Had visited years ago and found that some of the charm is gone because of over tourism. The village small and packed with people on the weekend. There are decent beaches in town, but you need to get there early to catch a good spot. For those of us born in western Turkey, the culture, habits, and warmth of the people here feel very familiar. That’s probably why we feel such a natural connection with our Greek neighbors. Their food culture, hospitality traditions, and the respectful way they approach their work have always impressed me deeply. She gave us so many recommendations of what to do, which turned out to be spot on from the first day to the last. Katerina makes this place what it is. She even bargains for a rental car without you having to ask for it, and takes care of the delivery and return with the company. When a person goes the extra distance, that’s what it’s all about. The hotel rooms are very beautiful decorated and impeccably cleaned. We really enjoyed the pool which is very big. The sunbeds near the pool and on the beach are the most comfortable ones I have ever seen. The breakfast is absolutely amazing, with a great selection. The food from Canela Restaurant is very good, and they serve delicious cocktails. We loved the stuff, always very helpful. We will definitely come again next year.
