Penelope seaside house is in an exceptional location! The beach is right at your front door. The house is cute, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. It is close to restaurants and everything you need for your stay at Platis Yialos Sifnos beach. Studio Mirtia is a great location near the Kamares port. 5 Minute walk. It was ideal for our late arrival. The host was extremely warm and welcoming. We were only staying one night and we were treated like kings. The hostess Evangelica, Messaged us the day prior to check on our arrival time and when we arrived at port she called to ensure we found our way to the Hotel or to see if we needed any assistance. We were welcomed warmly to the hotel rooms by the hosts husband. Each room included a gift of locally made biscuits and complimentary cold drinks and mineral water. Our group had been placed thoughtfully in neighbouring rooms. The rooms, while simple, were clean, comfortable and had everything you could need, toiletries, fresh coffee with a choice of an espresso maker or filter coffee, jams, honeys and crackers. Each room had balcony with a fantastic view of Kamares bay and the hills. Million dollar views. An ideal place to sit as the night set in and as day broke. The host brought us a plate of fresh fruit to our rooms in the morning which was the perfect accompaniment to taking in the morning sun and beautiful view from the balcony table and chairs. We were made to Lookfeel extremely special by the hosts who genuinely cared about us. It’s an ideal spot to access the shops Kamares with coffee shops, restaurants and the islands best pizzeria (others even told us about it) .

Sifnos turned out to be one of our favourite destination on this trip of Greece for our family of four. Sigma Residences proved nothing short of outstanding. The place is beautifully located with amazing views of Kastro at a distance and the Sea beyond. To make the most of your stay I would highly recommend renting a car at the port. Parking is available on site so you are covered in terms of travel on the trip. Sigma was nothing less than what a 5 star property would offer. On site Gym, a pool and a viewing Point too. The staff was superlative and left no stone unturned. A special Thanks to Eleni, Theodora and the entire staff who were attuned to every need that we had. They were Extremely professional and well informed. A special mention for the in house breakfast. Sigma residences is bookmarked on my list for future visits.

Everything the beaches, restaurants, staff. Our accommodation at lodge narlis was awesome as were staff. No breakfast provided but that didn’t matter lots of restaurants near by for breakfast. Bus service fantastic for Apollonia, Kastro etc lots of day trips and sights to see.

We arrived on Sep 28th and left on Oct 2nd.

We arrived on Sep 28th and left on Oct 2nd. The season in Sifnos ends on Oct 1st so the area was rather empty, however bars and restaurants in Platis Yialos were open. The beach is beautiful and the food is superb. Public buses at the end of the season are spars, and taxis are pricy, so we rented a car for a day when we wanted to visit other places on the island.

Nice place, long sandy beach, calm water. Plenty of restaurants, terraces, bars, several mini markets. Good prices, great food. My choices are Steki for a traditional dinner (incredible good price) and NUS for a sophisticated one. Very clean place, nice buildings, beautiful view. Personal overall impression: traditional, but without feeling it old.

Beautiful little place on the beach.

Beautiful little place on the beach. The village runs along the beach front. Plenty of restaurants and bars available in small area. Full range. Not many tourists shops but that’s fine by us. Very laid back feel and friendly people

Very nice beach although too expensive for the travelers as well as for the hotels guests. Actually the premises ask guests to pay 40euros for every day rent for 1 sun umbrella and 2 beds. The food was quite expensive too. To sum up, very nice Greek Island and very attractive beach in Platis Yialos although quite expensive.

Our place Le grand blu apartments were lovely and rustic. Spacious and beautiful view of sea and marina of Platis Gialos. Our hosts Costa & his wife were very gracious and lovely and always asking if things were well for us. This is their family property handed down. They have pride and take care of it as best they can but only thing is that fir my needs there were too many stairs to top unit. Having had hip surgery I should not have booked for this reason. If you want rustic Greek charm that adds a bit of south if France flavor thorn perfect for you and small families.

Great breakfast, great room, comfortable and very clean. The beach abutted the hotel, had water so clean and clear we had to go swimming each day. There is a restaurant attached that is very good. Maria, our host was amazing. She made sure that everything was running smoothly and we were enjoying ourselves. Indeed, when we wanted to take a tour of the island but no rental cars were available intown, she said take my car the keys are in it, free of charge. The island is safe. We will be coming back.

Our stay at this beautiful house in Platis Yialos, Sifnos, couldn’t have been better. The location was absolutely ideal — just about forty steps from the beach 😊 — yet still quiet and relaxing. The place was fully equipped with everything we needed and more, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. Parking nearby was really handy, and the host was friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. We’d definitely stay here again!

Staff were so helpful and very responsive in assisting me get to and from the port which can be a bit difficult in Sifnos as there are not many taxis on the island. Room was cute and the location was amazing! Karma hotel is across the road from a gorgeous beach with amazing cafes and restaurants around and right next to the supermarket.
