I rented a scooter.
I rented a scooter. Near the Orloff there is a very good bakery to buy a Tyropita to bring to the beaches in case one still wants a snack after the incredibly good breakfast. One of the most beautiful beaches is Agia Paraskevi. Other people go by bicycle or Elettric Bicycle, some walk, some jog. There are incredible places to discover. Nice beaches, nice vibes, beautiful buildings/architecture, nice strolls and walks, several cultural and historic references, nice restaurants, friendly people, perfect for a short getaway from Athens. Transportation is tricky though, the only working option is a scooter that needs to be booked much in advance. The lovely authentic town but mainly the lovely authentic people made Spetses special. Take a horse and carriage ride, visit Marina beach (paradise beach) eat ice cream, swim and swim some more! Spetses is a very relaxed island with a picturesque port and lots of nice restaurants and cafes. The beaches are good however unless you have transport there it can be difficult to get to beaches as there is an erratic single private bus service. While Spetses generally is car free the proliferation of motorbikes and scooters are an irritant but of course local people need to get around.Guest review byBrian PadcoIreland

The staff are kind and friendly, and the room (studio) was quite big. We had a lovely terrace overlooking the pool and the pool could be used post check out. The hotel is also about a 15’ walk from the city center and roughly 15’ to two different beaches. There is a beautiful walkway along the sea from the old port to the new port close by the hotel.
