Great apartment—above and beyond expectations. Exactly as described in the pictures. Thoughtful touches throughout: clothes and towel racks, outlets everywhere, electrical appliances and equipment like new (including a portable vacuum cleaner) and more... The children's sofa beds were comfortable and quite spacious. The outdoor seating areas are beautiful, and parking was conveniently right in front of the house. The service from the mother and son was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and available for any questions. Thank you!

We (couple + 3 years old kid) absolutely loved our stay at Faros. The location, right by the sea, surrounded by olive and citrus trees, is gorgeous. The natural sea pools carved in the rocks must be a delight in summer and autumn. There are other very quiet places under the trees, on the terrace... The rooms are basic but they have everything you need. Yasmine takes great care of her guests, she was like a Mum for us (efcharisto poli poli poli poli !!!). The breakfast is very generous and mostly features products from their farm (eggs jam honey cakes etc). Two (at least!) beautiful beaches nearby : Mylopotamos and Limnionas. We don't know how it looks in summer, but in May it was paradise :)

The whole experience was fantastic. Costas, the owner, was very kind and helpful. He made us feel at home. He cooked, answered, advised, and was always there to welcome us when we came back from our daily travels. He seems to really enjoy having guests and assiting them. The cleanliness was top-notch. Every day the room was cleaned and was spotless. The breakfast was very good, we had a great bouffe. 90% of the veggies and fruits are grown by Costas, the cake is made by his wife, and they also make very good jams (I specifically recommend the kiwi). The bouffe was mostly the same every time, but the hot course changed every morning. The hot course is cooked when you come to breakfast, and all of them were delicious. One time Costas cooked an omelet with ham, another time he cooked scrambled eggs with bacon, etc. The room was spacious and welcoming. We had a big balcony with a pretty view of the yard and of the beautiful mountains of Pelion. The double bed was comfortable and big. There was private parking by the hotel, yet it is not marked. Costas will tell you where he wants you to park and it is in a very convenient location. The location was fantastic for us, yet it depends on your aims of traveling Pelion. We could drive to the beaches of Kala Nera, Koropi, and Kato Gatzea in around 3 minutes. Getting to Kala Nera beach would take some time by foot we didn't think there is a reason not driving there, as it took 2 minutes and finding parking was easy. Also there are better beaches in other villages, in less then 5 minute driving distance. Also this location is convenient for traveling to east, south, and north Pelion. In general, the hotel is pretty, has a beautiful yard with crops, and has a pastoral view. It felt authentic, the attitude was super welcoming, and the whole property was pretty and green. I really recommend this hotel if you don't care about driving few minutes for good close beaches.

    Nice village, widespread on the mountain side.

    Nice village, widespread on the mountain side. Lots of excellent restaurants. A few old churches and chapels (many of which require that you find the local priest in order to enter). Nice beaches, Mylopotamos and Fakistra.

    Amazing scenic place, combining forest, mountain, beaches and taverns. St Paraskevi Square with one of the oldest Plane tree in Europe, surrounded by scenic cafe was beautiful and we visited often. Just opposite to this square was an amazing restaurant The Lost Unicorn, where we had a romantic dinner with live piano classics with an absolutely lovely and fairy tale atmosphere. We visited Papa Nero, Ntamouchari, Mylopotamos, Agii Saranta and Fakistra beach. The last one was really magnificent, almost tropical with crystal clear blue and green waters. To approach the beach we had to walk a mountain rocky and slippery path, requiring shoes for slippery conditions, but once we arrived it was stunning!

    Location of the house is excellent in the nice mountain...

    Location of the house is excellent in the nice mountain village of Tsagkarada. You really feel welcome and spoiled with the house owner, very nice lady! Room very clean, design excellent!The trips to the beaches take btw 35 min (eg. Monk Paradise beach) -18 min (Fakestra beach), but expect you need to drive down and up again on mountain roads every day.

    My favorite place is the square with a church and another...

    My favorite place is the square with a church and another square with the old plane tree. Every restaurant and cafe is very nice and romantic. This place is more for couples and people who wants really to relax. Clima is fantastic, you need about 30 to 40 minutes to the really nice beaches. You need a car here. I will come next year for sure.

    We loved the secluded pebbly beach and the small port. Visiting the huge, antique tree in the center of the village is a must. There are many good places to eat in Tsagarada, especially goid Aleka's restaurant. A little on the expensive side, but worth it! There's also a grocery store with all that you need. With a car, it's easy to get to everywhere , but the holes in the roads have to be fixed. We had a wonderful time, just wish it was longer.

    we enjoyed are stay at alexias home very much!!! it is a very nice home located nearby the square and the surroundings are very nice. the communication before and during our stay with the host was great! when we arrived a welcome basket with products waited for us / during our stay nothing was missinsg- theres great coffee . the house is clean and comfortable with anything you need in it. the oatio was also nice and has a great view we would highly recommend staying here and for sure will come back if we come to tsagarada again

    In terms of the location of the hotel, we really liked the views, the peace and quiet. It is problematic to reach the center of the village and the restaurants since the access road to the hotel is a steep climb without a sidewalk and is dark at night. The breakfast does not reflect the level of a 5 star hotel. There is not enough selection, there is no variety and it is very boring to see the same food every morning. In addition, an additional fee is required for coffee.

    Wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay in Tsagkarada. Hosts were so welcoming and friendly, upgraded our room for us and provided juice, snacks and toasts. Helped us find our way around the area and gave us helpful advice. Hotel is charming, it has a unique style like the rest of Pelion and a gorgeous view towards the ocean. One of my favourite places in Greece. Thanks again

    -Location -The house was getting warm very fast with the radiators and the fireplace. -Very cozy and comfortable apartment in the best village of Mount Pelion. On the mountain and close to the beach as well. -Also the guys were very helpful and answered immediately to our call for info and extra equipment.
