Most hikers on the Menalon trail skip Zygovisti - I think this is a great shame, as it's one of the most welcoming little villages I've ever encountered. The house is in the middle of "upper Zygovisti", which means you're immersed in an environment of beautiful mountain and forest views. The house was extremely well stocked with tea, coffee, oranges, fresh local eggs etc. Special bonus was a bottle of local Tsipourou which was really delicious.

Great owners!! Very friendly mother and daughter, who run the b&b and a taverna downstairs. We were hiking the menalon trail and stayed for 1 night with dinner at their place, very good, clean and modern room and tasty local food. The wonderful lady gave us coffee for free in the morning as well! Thank you!

The location is perfect! It's a short walking distance to shops and restaurants in town and a short drive to hikes and other nearby attractions. The property is beautiful, and we enjoyed spending time on the garden patio outside. Our host's mother in law was waiting for us on arrival to let us in. We loved staying here!

We absolutely loved the design and esthetics of this place. It’s one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. They have given attention to details everywhere to make the staying of the visitors very easy and pleasant. It’s fully equipped with everything we needed. Sparkling clean and within walking distance to the village’s square. We really didn’t want to leave!

    This was a stop on a road trip that my father and I were...

    This was a stop on a road trip that my father and I were taking through the Pelopponese. All of our stops were for one night and we were stopping near our chosen path. So this unit was chosen because it was near where we expected to be near the end of the day. It was located in a small village, as is typical of most of the Peloponese. This is a good way of getting off of the beaten path and seeing Greece outside of the more well known areas of Greece.
