The service and the atmosphere were our favorite part. The indoor/outdoor design had a refreshing breeze and it felt romantic. The service was amazing from the time we arrived. Three people stoodout. TROY who made sure we had whatever we needed for our stay, made us aware of the best views from the patio for the Diwali motorcade. He is so professional and our experience was enhanced by him - also he was very knowledgeable on questions we had. CHERYL was our waitress at night and the next morning for brunch. We recognized her from a cute Instagram video on the hotel's page. She was fun and again super professional. She handled some very large parties while still making sure we had a great experience. Also the restaurant food was delicious (chicken curry, fried rice, dahl). Third, COLLIN was a wonderful host on our last morning. He is so pleasant, professional and I really felt he wanted us to have the best experience possible and we left smiling, refreshed and so very glad we came.

The welcome by the security personnel especially Christopher was so warm and friendly it made us happy and a sense of security. The office staff was very helpful especially Rehinna who was very warm and professional. The staff in general was very courteous and friendly and approachable.

    It rained a lot and movement was curtailed.

    It rained a lot and movement was curtailed. However, went on a few taxi rides to the city. Very busy and traffic is absolutely heavy. OMG restaurant was great where the food was reasonable. Time was short so I was unable to see as much. However, many huge buildings and development in Georgetown and elsewhere. Lots of progress since I left Guyana. Thanks.

    I booked a deluxe room, which was very clean but being 7 days in a room without no hot water .That as terrible. Different staff members tried to help but to no avail.We only got hot water the night before leaving. Which was very bad. I got sick bathing with only cold water. It was horrible. The hotelof itself was ok

    Not much to do in Georgetown.

    Not much to do in Georgetown. The avenues reflect a more affluent colonial history but outlook seems good as investment in infrastructure is visible. Traffic is terrible. The Book A Ride app for taxis is good - with a very helpful chat function. Highly recommended The beauty of Guyana is the interior and if the opportunity arises to go inland then grab it

    Georgetown is a beautiful place with friendly people who are...

    Georgetown is a beautiful place with friendly people who are helpful and quite amusing at times. It has a colonial past and several of the Government offices are still in use today. It has a new mall with shops, a variety of places to eat and meet up with friends and family. The known hotels are overpriced but there are several hotels available at good rates and are clean and comfortable.

    This is home for us so I cannot give an unbiased review.

    This is home for us so I cannot give an unbiased review. Definitely a need for improvement in cleanliness especially in open air markets. Private businesses are improving efficiency, government facilities need to step up especially in anticipation of increasing client/opportunities. People are still friendly mostly. Rental cars available if you have the courage to drive.

    Manager was welcoming and helpful, carrying luggage up the stairs, sourcing taxis and welcoming our many visitors. Staff on duty at breakfast responded well to our requests for traditional Guyanese types of foods. Staff were polite and responsive when requests were made. Rooms were comfortable. Location of hotel was convenient for travelling around Georgetown and for the many excursions we made. Reception areas were clean and well decorated with comfortable armchairs and artificial flower displays.

    It is a pretty modern hotel, neat and clean. The only thing to improve if possible is the noise isolation cause I could hear those walking outside on the elevator, I may have good hearing but, just check it.
