Right smack in the NP close to Entrance 3 (the sneaky entrance) the location couldn’t be more handy. Branislav will pick you up (if needed) explain everything and tell you were you can walk to the lookout points if you don’t have a NP ticket. Clean, large rooms, well equipped with everything you need. Wake up to the sound of the river/falls if you’re lucky! We didn’t eat breakfast, but it looked like a good spread.

The location was beautiful, just above a creek and a short walk to entrance 3. There was plenty of parking space and the room was perfect. We stayed on the ground floor and our doors opened out onto a terrace with garden views. The hosts were wonderful and made us feel very welcome, were very helpful and the food was delicious. The photos don't do this place justice. We stayed in a standalone chalet with two bedrooms upstairs and kitchen and lounge downstairs. We never used the kitchen though because the food at breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was delicious. The property is in a quiet wooded area with nice gardens a short walk from Park Entrance 3 so it was very easy to visit the Lakes and a relaxing place to come back to. The staff at the property recommended walks and routes to take for our visit. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We loved staying here and hope to come back to see the beautiful lakes in a different season.

Close proximity to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Weather was perfect in off season early November and no crowds. Peaceful location, lovely cottage and beautiful scenery. Cooked breakfast was ideal start to the day. Local Manager was kind and responsive to needs.

Really unique & beautiful interlinked lakes, the whole area was gorgeous. Entrance 3 is a secluded and easy entrance to use with parking around there. We went at 3:30 pm and it was perfect, fewer people. It took us 3-3.5 hrs to leisurely walk around the lake, take the boat and the bus back. Its worth it to spend the night in the area to visit the lakes in the afternoon or morning. There is place to eat & drink near the boat area, which was reasonable.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you want to visit Plitvice Falls. It’s a short walk to entrance 3. Jasmine, the hostess was amazing. She gave us all the information we needed to tour the park and try to avoid crowds as much as possible. Added bonus the breakfast and dinner were fantastic. If I was an owner of inn, I’d want a manager just like Jasmine. She went above and beyond.

Lakes and water falls were very unusual and visually stunning. Price of entry is high 150 euro for 5 including 2 kids. Have been to see many other fantastic areas in other countries and usually entry is free or much less. Glad I visited the lakes but would not go back again. Once is enough

It's the best place if you want to walk Plitvice Lakes park,...

It's the best place if you want to walk Plitvice Lakes park, in my case I stayed 3 days because I like walking almost every path 😊. If you're a fast walker you can do the park in just one day but it's better to take your time, that place is dreamy. Plitvica Selo is a tiny location where you can go to the park via entrance #3 where you can avoid loooooong lines waiting.

The location is amazing.

The location is amazing. The lookout at the top of the main park waterfall is a short walk from the premises. The quiet serenity of the area is remarkable. Getting up early for a walk in the misty paths was a true treasure. The room is truly comfortable and homely with all amenities required. Host Ante is a great cook and also shared ideas and things to do with our upcoming stays in Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik, which helps a lot in especially choosing a restaurant. I would truly recommend this stay. It is a great location.

It was an amazing experience, the owner family is so kind and supportive, we were so happy that we have chosen this Hotel. Warm welcome, lots of suggestion for visiting the national park, family friendly and the extraordinary breakfast and dinner. Always cooked with so much love for details, simply perfect. We were really sad when we left those friendly people, thank you very much for the time we have spent at the RiverHouse.

The location of this property was excellent. Literally 250 meters from entrance 3 (remember to buy the ticket for this entrance in advance). Our hosts were very friendly. We loved walking bingo (dog) into the park. The property is close to a small hotel which had an excellent menus and the prices were very reasonable.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Stayed in lodge which was super clean and staff were super friendly! When you go to reception, you will see “no card payment, only cash” but you can actually pay by card as staff calls to the office where payment is processed!
