The Bello bungalow is situated in a rural area surrounded by rice fields and nature. It is absolutely stunning!! The staff is incredibly friendly and ready to help! I'm a solo traveller and I felt very safe. You have to respect the local community, so it is better to have a proper outfit when going around. It is possible to rent a scooter as well, but there are local guides that can help you to arrange tours and show you around, and suggest the typical food to try! The room is absolutely nice, the ves is comfortable, is very clean, there is a window on the rice fields, AC and kettle. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED!!

We fell in love with Les Rizieres right from the start. From our room as well as the upper lounge deck you have an amazing, calming view of a beautiful rice field. The room was perfectly clean, stylish and made up with lots of consideration and love for details. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff very professional, friendly, kind and managed to make us feel at home immediately. Moreover we had an excellent tour with one local staff member who showed us the authentic Tetebatu. We truly loved our stay and hope to stay there again!

The owners of this amazing place have a really touching care for the comfort of the guests. Right after our arrival we were welcomed by the owner, a very nice man with whom we became friends during our stay, I dare say. Compared to other hotels in this price category, this is really above standard in terms of customer care. Included are the classic Indonesian breakfast (with which they wait until you wake up) and dinner, which we really enjoyed. We also went camping together in non-touristy jungle spots. The people in the nearby villages are very friendly. Just 11/10.

This was by far the best experience we’ve ever had—not just in a homestay but in any hotel we’ve stayed at. You’ll be welcomed by an amazing family who make you feel like you’re truly part of their own. Each day, you’ll have the opportunity to join them on unique excursions like visiting cultural villages, learning to make coconut oil from scratch with the whole family, or exploring the rice fields with their cousin. The stay also includes a delicious homemade breakfast and lunch, and if you’d like dinner, you can enjoy it at their cozy little restaurant on-site. We had an unforgettable time and already can’t wait to come back. This family has made us feel like one of their own, and we’re so grateful for their warmth and generosity. What makes this place even more special is that Ozi, the wonderful host, has hand-built the rooms and pool himself—a true labor of love that adds to the resort’s charm and character. The air conditioning works perfectly, and the showers provide reliable hot water, ensuring a comfortable stay. The resort is ideally located just a short motorcycle ride from the nearby waterfalls. Ozi personally took us there in the morning, allowing us to enjoy the serene beauty before the crowds arrived. His wife’s home-cooked traditional Indonesian meals were a highlight, adding warmth and authenticity to our stay. Evenings at Goa Walet Cottage are exceptionally peaceful, with no passing traffic and no disturbance from calls to prayer, making it the perfect place to unwind. When I needed to find an ATM, Ozi even accompanied me to the nearest village—just one example of his kindness and outstanding hospitality.
