It has been my second time at Oemah Tepi Sawah. The best place I stayed in Bali. I didn’t want to leave it. The location is quiet, great around rice fields and jungle, the team is so lovely. I have done most of the activities they offer and I really enjoyed as you go always with a local guide providing information about their culture. This time I also helped Dewi (the owner) with the English classes for the kids in the village, it was very special. We had a great time! The food is delicious, I enjoyed every breakfast and dinner. This place is perfect for you if you want to immerse in the Balinese culture and the real Bali! Thank you Dewi, Putu and the rest of the team. I’ll come back!

We booked the lodge spountaneously and it was the best thing we could have done. I absolutely recommend it to everyone who loves the nature and a familiar surrounding. You will stay in a stunning rice terrase and the view and the lodges are a dream. Moreover after just one night we felt so welcomed and familiar because of the lovely hosts, who are truly there for their guests. We had great conversations and through that we learned a lot about the island. On top the local, selfmade food was so delicous and there are vegeterian and vegan offers. This magical place should definitely be on your bucket list, if you travel to Bali and I hope we have the oppurtunity to come back here again.

Had the best time in bali at kubu homestay. The view of the rice field right outside was so serene and peaceful, and one could also walk around the rice paddies and visit the local village nearby. Putu even gave me scooter lessons upon request and i had such an enjoyable ride around the empty village roads. The homely food cooked by his wife is amazing as well, the farm grown fruits are delicious, the bed super comfy as well with the soft sheets. Everything is just perfect, not forgetting the cooling weather here was such a great respite from the heat in other parts of bali. Had a friendly driver roi who kindly shared a lot about his local village and got to meet his family as well. Thank you for making ny experience here so memorable!

The owner was really nice and helping us with every request we had. They provide everything you need. The room is simple but super clean and you have a nice balcony with a forest view. The path to the bungalows has a beautiful view over the ricefields. We were really happy staying here.

Putu is an amazing host. He'll assist you prior arrival to make your stay smooth. You can also request him to bring you around for some daily tours in extra. I absolutely loved my stay at the jungle cabin—it was the perfect start to my journey. The host was incredibly kind, picking me up from the airport, helping me get a SIM card, and even taking me to a commission-free money exchange. I felt completely safe and well taken care of. His wife prepared the most delicious Balinese food, and I had an amazing time on his tour, visiting breathtaking temples, exploring the stunning Jatiluwih rice terraces, and tasting traditional Balinese coffee—including the famous Luwak coffee. The cabin itself is a peaceful retreat, surrounded by nature, making it a perfect escape from the hustle of the city. I truly enjoyed every moment and will definitely return!

    This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money.

    This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money. It's immediately across the road from the terraces, and the walking track access. The owner is a nice guy, and does everything, reception, cleaning, cooking, etc. The breakfast was basic but tasty, and the Chicken Curry he cooked for me for lunch one of the best I've had in a while. He has a very friendly dog that followed me everywhere, and enjoyed a pat and tummy rub.

    Absolutely amazing place with a unique charm. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment. The views are breathtaking and watching the sunrise starts your day perfectly. We went to visit the Jatiluwih rice fields, hiked Mt. Batukaru, explored nearby temples and always went back to relax in this beautiful villa, to have their excellent tea and tasty food. The staff is great and carrying. Thank you for a fantastic time!

    meet Adi a farmer from a small village near jatiluwih who created this wonderful wood cabin with second hand material. you will find everything you need, the accommodation is more than clean and confortable. I felt lucky to be Adi's first guest, he was so delighted to make me discover his surroundings and sharing conversations around some music. thank you for these unforgettable moments.

    The location was excellent. Close to Jatiluwih rice terrace and all popular restaurants in that area. Felt connected to nature and the hosts were helpful. You get the mountain view, rice terrace fields view along with a small creek view.

    This is such a beautiful hidden place in Bali. Paradise, in the middle of the rice fields. Surrounded by a lot of tropical fruittrees, edible and medicinal plants. Good local food and amzing people ❤️.
