Fabulous views of Mt Batur and surrounding mountains. Very quiet and peaceful. Each villa has its own natural hot spring pool. Staff very accommodating. Restaurant at the villas, so no need to go elsewhere for food. Staff arranges activities as requested. We did a boat tour of the lake.

This place is beautiful, super clean, beds are comfy and the view is simply stunning. But, be aware, there are stairs... To go in, you dont feel as much, as you are going down... To go up tho, its a different story all together. The staff will help you with bags, but we had a rather large one and we felt to bad of allowing the girl to take it on her head, that we push it up... And that was a mission and a half!

We absolutely loved our stay in the jungle, completely secluded from society. The tranquility and natural beauty of the surroundings were incredible. Waking up to the stunning view of Mount Batur was a highlight of our experience. It was the perfect escape for relaxation and connecting with nature. We booked a private villa for the birthday and it was a brilliant idea! The private pool with hot springs, secluded dining area for our guests and the room service was excellent! The rooms are clean and cozy, I also ordered a birthday decoration for my friend, so it looked fantastic! Staff was very nice and helpful! Kintamani is a little village away from the hustle and bustle of the more popular tourist areas. We did the sunrise hike at Mt Batur and it was truly an amazing experience. We went to the hot springs after our hike and it was the best to soothe our muscles after the hike. If you are looking for a quieter area with beautiful volcano views and nature, then I definitely recommend spending some time there. Highly recommend Wayan Kitchen & Bar for a delicious meal and affordable Indonesian wine.

Many restaurants and chill place.Beautiful perfect picture overlooking the mountains. Love the weather in kintamani.Must try their local delicacy. To get here is best to have a local guide that can drive you around.Many hotspring to visit.

The facilities at Mount Batur Villa are really clean and well kept. The pool is excellent with picturesque views. Flies are the biggest problem for the area but there is not much can be done about that, given the vegetation in the region. The pre-dawn trip up Mount T Batur to see the sunrise is thoroughly worthwhile, as is the Jeep trip which followed to the black lava site. Had one night out in Kintamani for a meal but other than the mountain trip there is not much to do there. Couple of days there is my recommendation.

Kintamani is a welcome breeze away from buzzing cities like Canggu and Ubud. It has beautiful nature around and is worth a visit. I would recommend to find a cool camping spot and hike up one of the volcanos.

The time period is based on the amount of activities you plan in the area. But if you just want to do hiking up the Mount Batur or only the Jeep in the sunrise - 1 night is enough of stay. The day before and after could be used for getting the views and some restaurants.

Kintamani is out of the way, but the drive/sites are...

Kintamani is out of the way, but the drive/sites are incredible. We were going to hike up Mt Batur but then we would have missed other sites (due to climbing at night). However I am sure it would have been great! Most travel companies leave from Ubud not Kintamani. Recommend restful stay after the climb here. Not too many English literate people here but very kind and accommodating. Too many dogs!

This property we booked because of the trip to the mountain Batur. It is located in the pinewoods - something different to the whole island with the palms. It is really close to mountain region. Staff was professional. Every hotel we visited in Bali while travelling for 3 weeks (5 hotels), this one was the worst.
