Prettymuch brandnew so all the facilities are in great order. Rooms nice and big. Bed extremely comfortable. We booked our Bromo and Waterfall through reception for a little cheaper than online and everything was as expected. We also availed of their airport collection service which was all on point. Breakfast buffer in the morning was nice. We ate from the restaurant on the rooftop deck, nice food. Someone complained that there was no sun loungers by the pool. This is true but then the area on the roof is quite small, its understandable why they dont. Its really close to all the shopping malls and grabs are easily obtained. All in all, it was a really great hotel for an amazing price and they deserve a good review for making our stay enjoyable and comfortable.

Breakfast was the best. Best service by Ms Elsa. Very clean & well maintained room. Thanks Elsa. Shana’s, Mila & Tyas were very friendly, helpful, happy, wonderful staff. I will definitely be back. Manager Samsul was very nice person. Alex helped me to bringing down my luggage, nice of him. Ms Elsa, Ms Mila, Shanaz & Tyas helped me to order Grab for me. They know, this was my first time, they were checking on me on WhatsApp that how I am , where. Make sure I am safe. Tyas surprised me when she sent a WhatsApp message for safety. Tyas is a sweetheart, I really appreciated for asking that I am safe. God bless her heats.

    My last visit to Surabaya was about 10 years ago. The city had transformed to be nicer and cleaner. Shopping malls were excellent now, cleaner. Keep it up. Surprisingly bluebird taxis were still available, but driver's honesty was questionable at times (meter rates).

    Surabaya is a good stepping stone for other places. We didn’t really tour the city, mainly because we had other plans around it. The air quality was a bit disturbing. There were a lot of accomodation options, which was good. Would recommend it if you want to see ruins nearby or fly to Pangkalan Bun (Kalimantan).

    Well Surabaya has been improving a lot now, for example it widened the main road like jl Ahmad Yani and others. clean gardens, and traffic was not so bad actually. it is easy to get around. our fav resto is Beatus alfresco Grill N Dining for sure. it was a very short trip 2 nights but fulfilled the purpose of the trip.

    Movenpick hotel is very clean, nice big rooms with wonderful, amazing & friendly staff Elsa, Shanaz, Mali, Tyas. Elsa the boss of housekeeping team made my room every day, clean, nice smell. Every night when I come to my room made me very happy, clean & nice smell. Good girl Elsa. Shanaz, Mali & Tyas were my guides. Everyday they arrange my trip & I really enjoyed. God bless there hearts. Mali, Tyas & Shanaz were helping me to order Grab& Places to visit. The best customer service, friendly with lots of smile. Very respectful staff & wonderful service.

    Top class hotel. The staff is great, attentive, polite and very nice and professional. The facilities are amazing, the pool is good, the gym has everything you need, the spa service is also amazing! The food options are also very good, I tried the Japanese restaurant and it was amazing! The room size is also spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, it is clean and tidy. I loved my stay at the Shangri La and hope I can comw back soon!!!

    This is a world class hotel with really helpful staff. It's connected to a giant shopping centre (Pakuwon Mall in West Surabaya) and has a well equipped gym, a big outdoor pool and nice breakfast buffet. The rooms are super clean and the beds are really comfortable. A great choice for families.
