All hostess local recommendations were really worth exploring! Absolutely loved having breakfast and dinners outside. Absolutely magical stay in Ash Hill. The property is a historic house, that has been renovated inside for all the comfort one needs. We had an amazing stay, with a huge bedroom and a bathroom. Mountain view was a bonus surrounded by a beautiful garden. Host was amazing and went out of their way to look after us. Loved our morning and evening walks throughout the stay admiring nature and the peace and quiet. We will definitely be back!

Our journey was marked by a meeting with the owner of the house, Liam, who warmly welcomed us and provided cozy rooms on the second floor of this magnificent old house. The cleanliness of the room and the comfortable bed were important aspects for us, and we were satisfied. The breakfast was particularly remarkable - a true traditional Irish feast on your plate. The table was elegantly set, and the aromas and flavors of the breakfast were simply amazing. It was a true culinary experience that added charm to our stay. Liam turned out to be a sociable host with a great sense of humor. His company was pleasant and engaging, which added an extra mood of joy to our stay. I can confidently recommend this place to stay. Breakfast was perfect. So beautiful and flavorful. It was the best in our 9-day visit to Ireland. Patrick, Miriam and Elaine were the best hosts. We left feeling very good. Beds were comfortable with duvets that made you want to stay enwrapped in coziness. We loved hiking the grounds and learning about the family, home, work, and history. Ballinwillin House is an asset to Ireland's tourism industry. it's the real deal and a great ambassador for the country.

Fairy Fort Farm is an amazing place to stay — the best on our trip around Ireland. It’s located in a quiet area with beautiful views. The entire house is available to guests, everything is very clean. We were please d to find eggs, milk, and other small snacks waiting for us. A bonus is the hot tub, which is included in the price. We really enjoyed our stay.

I rarely leave reviews for places I stayed in but I had to make an exception in this case. The cottage is in immaculate condition! Everything is exactly as you can see in the pictures but there is way more waiting for you: the tranquillity of perfect silence at night and birds singling in the morning. Jim & Anne Marie are excellent hosts who give you privacy even though they are nearby if you need them. They thought of everything you may need during your stay. Well-stocked fridge and pantry were also a pleasant surprise. I can strongly recommend this place for every person looking for a bit of escapism from the daily grind. We will be back for sure.
