Really enjoyed our stay in Avoca.
Really enjoyed our stay in Avoca. You do need a car to get around and see the beautiful scenery. We walked to the Miners Cross a bit of a hike but doable and the view from the top was breathtaking. We had to eat outside of Avoca and chose Wooden bridge which we would recommend. The meeting of the waters is a beautiful location and you can enjoy a pint in their pub. Its a bit run down but it is still a beautiful place to enjoy a drink or a coffee :-)Guest review byEileenUnited Kingdom

Also near to Avoca weaving mill which was a superb place to visit and exceeded expectations. There was a common kitchen area with microwave and washing machine - although having the adjacent room it was noisy ! When people converged late evening to cook.
