The cottage was beautiful and perfectly located for our trip to Kilkenny. Mick (host) and the cottage couldn't have been any better. Highly recommended as a base for a trip to Kilkenny or Carlow once you have access to a car as it is beautifully out in the country.

-our room was spotless clean -the staff was very attentive and helpful, the service and food at their restaurant were excellent -this inn is located in a picturesque village right at the banks of a river with lovely boats and a lot of flowers. Nearby is a sandy river beach with life guards on duty and you can cross a beautiful old bridge to reach the other side of the river -parking is available and free of charge

Very clean, beautiful home. Even though, I had a shared bathroom , I didn’t have to share, because no one in the adjoining room.

A fantastic property that overawes you as you enter the gates. The hotel is very well designed and the rooms are great. One should have sufficient time to enjoy the peroperty as it has a lot to offer. The restaurant was packed and obviously well thought of. We enjoyed the bar. A special hello to Max and Murphy!

This is a 12 out of 10 stay! Absolutely fantastic estate. not only did we feel taken care of, there is so much to see and do at Mount Juliet. It wouldn’t be right to end the review without mentioning David. He is an exceptional part of the staff that made us feel like royalty. All the small gestures added up to great memories. Thank you David for teaching us about the Estate and making sure we enjoyed every inch of our stay! oh, and you must try a Lemondrop if you stop by the bar. We’ll definitely be back!

The hotel location, not too far from golf clubhouse was ideal for me. Only a few minutes stroll from Bunclody town which is great. The hotel is beautiful, new and clean. Friendly staff. I will definitely be back.
