It’s a seaside town. Out of season it must be quite pretty. It has a long promenade and a pleasant walk around the adjacent headland. On a Sunday afternoon in September it is popular and busy. Think fish-and-chips and ice-cream.

From the Wilton Hotel, we easily walked to Bray up the mountain path to the cross. Then on to Greystones. Bus back and that return bus stop was so close to the hotel. Kilrudderey Estate across the road from hotel, nice morning activity. Powerscourt within driving distance, Kilmancanogue/Avoca also accessible by car. The Train Station was extremely convenient too. A lovely promenade made for a nice evening walk. We ate each evening at the Wilton Hotel, super food and well priced.

Weather was quite good which was a plus. Entertainment and things to do is quite limited. Sorry we didn't stay in the main hotel which our friends told us is the place to be. The ice cream was good.

    Lovely seaside town.

Lovely seaside town. Half-hour on pleasant railway from Dublin with sea views from the carriage. Nice walk along the beach and up the headland, good coffee and brunch cafes and nice restaurants. Friendly people, clean and very pleasant. Thoroughly recommend.

We went for long walks along the promenade. The town is also just a short walk away. There is a choice of restaurants, coffee/ tea shops and grocery stores. We loved the farm market on the Saturday, which was just a short drive away. The added bonus was to watch the start and finish of the "To hell and back" endurance race with 100's of participants.

Delightful seaside resort with very nice beaches.

Delightful seaside resort with very nice beaches. Several restaurants with ocean views. Lots of amenities. Just a short 30 min DART to Pearce Station in the heart of Dublin. A short drive to the Wicklow Mountains for a different experience. The drive to Dublin Airport was only 40 min during morning rush hour traffic.

A nice family home with rooms rented out. Proprietor was very nice and welcoming. Room was excellent; nice bathroom and bed etc. Continental breakie left outside your room so you can collect and eat in your room; it was tasty. Central location and close to the Bray beach which is very nice. Sea was lush so went in for a dip. Plenty of eating places along the prom plus ice cream parlors. My bicycle was securely stored inside the house/ back yard.

Spacious rooms with comfortable big bed and comfortable pillows. Breakfast selection was excellent. All staff were friendly and helpful , particularly the breakfast staff. Location was perfect with easy access and egress and not too far from Bray town centre. Close to main routes.
