John was very friendly, we were allowed to use the kitchen and living room and could even have watched netflix or tv. The view was incredible and the house itself was very nicely decorated. Parking included.

Large bedroom with comfy waterbed. Separate room for suitcase storage & good sized bathroom with a bidet! Great shower. Separate & large tv room. Shared kitchen with everything you need & large dining table. Warm & very peaceful. Great parking. We walked to the local for a great meal (about 15-20 mins). John greeted us & showed us how everything worked, then left us alone, which is just what we wanted.

I could not believe how clean this place was! Better than a 4 stars hotel. The floor and the room are brand new and decorated with taste. Hot water, comfortable beds. Nice appliances. We as a family enjoyed it a lot. You can't hear anything from the bar!

    Teach Hudí Beag is a fantastic pub, with excellent staff, the most wonderful traditional music sessions on Friday nights and (I think) Monday nights, and Irish the spoken language throughout. Caife Chití just opposite is the perfect place for breakfasts, salads, lunches. And the tours in nearly Croithlí distillery are both entertaining and informative --- the whiskey tastings are great too!!!!

    Although only there for a short while Bunbeg has all the ingredients of the mystic west. The sunset was spectacular over the beach. Bád Eddie (Eddies boat) on Bunbeg's Magheraclogher beach, in Gaoth Dobhair (Gweedore) is a must see. The official story is that the boat was stranded on the beach but we heard from a good source that Eddie did it deliberately. He beached the boat in order to fit a new engine but he was going through a divorce and his wife asked for her share of the boat so he never repaired it.

    Absolutely loved our 4 night stay. We were made so welcome. Staff were so friendly and every single one of them worked hard and always had a smile on their face. Room was very spacious and a beautiful view. Breakfast was delicious. Lovely bar with entertainment every night. Evening meals were made to order in which there was a nice menu with plenty of variety to choose from, large portions and food was piping hot. Would recommend the hotel to anyone. Will certainly be back.

    It’s very quaint, full of character and the decor is beautiful. It gave me some inspiration for my own house! It’s also very clean. It was extremely well equipped, literally everything you could think of- even down to plastic picnic cutlery. Excellent quality tea and coffee, biscuits etc and some drinks in the fridge! Our host couldn’t have been nicer, it was a very last minute booking for my partner’s birthday and she put up balloons and a banner without me asking.

    The location was superb (by the Bunbeg marina) and 1 kilometre from the village centre. The proprietor Anne was friendly and helpful. She helped us with a lot of local information, for example the live Irish music played in the local pub at night, local restaurants, shops, and places to see. We liked the outside resting facility with several chairs and tables. There was a private locked entrance for the quests. A free car park was a real bonus!

    Excellent location just opposite Sean Ógs pub. Fabulous breakfast. The BnB is a large house.. comfortable but slightly dated interiors. Everything worked fine. Plenty of parking too. Staff were so friendly and full of really helpful suggestions Superb value overall.

    It was just a rental for 6 nights. The apartment is quite big and airy with 2 bathrooms. It is in the centre of Bunbeg too.
