Teach Hudí Beag is a fantastic pub, with excellent staff, the most wonderful traditional music sessions on Friday nights and (I think) Monday nights, and Irish the spoken language throughout. Caife Chití just opposite is the perfect place for breakfasts, salads, lunches. Although only there for a short while Bunbeg has all the ingredients of the mystic west. The sunset was spectacular over the beach. Bád Eddie (Eddies boat) on Bunbeg's Magheraclogher beach, in Gaoth Dobhair (Gweedore) is a must see. The official story is that the boat was stranded on the beach but we heard from a good source that Eddie did it deliberately. He beached the boat in order to fit a new engine but he was going through a divorce and his wife asked for her share of the boat so he never repaired it.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom

It was warm and cosy, nicely furnished, well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. There was a lovely welcome basket of scones, jam and butter along with some complementary wine. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and when we mentioned we were unsure where to eat that evening, they recommended a lovely bar/restaurant and even booked it in their name for us. Thank you!
