GermanyMy wife is our trip planner. She deliberately bypassed the Blarney Castle to come to Cashel. She explained why and I agreed. She asked me to select the hotel in Cashel and I chose this one. I am glad I did. The hotel is outstanding in every respect. Breakfast is included and parking is available just a short distance away. The staff is tremendous. They recommended dining at their restaurant on site, but we wanted to go elsewhere. When we found nothing else open, we returned here. The room was very large with plenty of space and it even had a view of the Rock. The only quirky thing was the bathroom door and the positioning of the toilet seat. It was awkward. Still, we loved our one night in Cashel. The breakfast was absolutely perfect with a perfectly cooked eggs Benedict. If you visit Cashel, this is your place for everything.

IrelandFirstly - OH WOW! An absolutely stunning great, old house which has been beautifully restored by a wonderful young couple. Our stay couldn't have been better. Gorgeous bedroom, beautiful breakfast, stunning views and wonderful location at the top of Cashel Town. Every thought has been put into guests' comfort - from lovely cake and coffee upon arrival to a cheeky glass of whiskey in the drawing room that evening. Veronica is the perfect host. We cannot wait to visit again. Such a lovely energy in the house which added to a great night's sleep. Simply cannot think of enough good things to say about our stay here : )

The view from bedrooms is just breathtaking and the place is just like on photos :) .

We had great weather which made it easy to walk around town and the main tourist attractions. 2 days is plenty but not many options for live music. Gorgeous place , plently of bars and restaurants People are friendly and welcoming. Plently of places to visit in Cashel and nearby towns too - perfect base for visiting other areas Cork, Waterford, Limerick all within an hours drive. We were very lucky in having good accommodation with a perfect host. We had an unforgettable evening singing Irish songs around the Copperfield piano. Our host recommended a bar and a restaurant in town, both of which were very good. The Copperfield breakfast is also very special. Cashel has a fascinating history.
Cashel has a fascinating history. A visit to 'the Rock' (with its ruined cathedral, Cormac's Romanesque chapel, and great views) is very highly recommended. What an amazing, quaint town.
What an amazing, quaint town. We wished we had been there longer. There are plenty of places to visit, including the Rock of Cashel, the surrounding countryside is idyllic and there are plenty of bars and restaurants too chose from. The people are bar far the absolute friendliest I have ever met. The locals, once met, remember you the next day and say hello and stop to chat - you literally feel like you live there - I really did not want to leave and am already planning another visit - will be staying at the Baileys hotel again too - what an absolute diamond find that place was too Places to eat & drink - there are plenty more but these are ones we went into: Baileys cellar bar and Restaurant Daverns Bar & Restuarant Mikey Ryan's bar & Restaurant Feehans Some of the Quaint Irish pubs (not all listed but there are plenty more that looked lovely) T J Ryan’s Brosnans Bill Foleys Bar & Lounge Cocktail bar: City Bar Avoid: The Brian Ború - bit of a dump compared to the rest of the places available to you You don’t need a car to get around Cashel but one is needed to explore surrounding areasGuest review byPaulaUnited Kingdom
