Loved the drumlin roads, like being on a gentle rollercoaster. Very friendly people. The Cavan County Museum was fascinating, moving, imaginative, comprehensive. One of the best I've seen. The Cavan County Museum was very interesting place to visit, beautiful gardens well planned out and Fantastic exhibits, ie The Battle of the Somme, trenches , Replica of the GPO and the exhibits. The whole history of the country, and its significance in the landscape of Cavan and its people. I would highly recommend it. We were in the area for a wedding in the nearby hotel in farham estate and came across Drunlanaught cottage and were so glad we did. Everything that we done from initial communication to when we were leaving our two hosts couldn’t have done enough for us.
