The setting was very nice, with close to all the attractions of the Mullingar area but in the countryside. The host's husband, who was filling in while she attended to family matters, was very friendly and even gave us a tour of his hurling stick manufacturing and shop. It's a gated yard, so it felt very secure, and the breakfast area had everything you needed for a little snack or a good start to the day!

Perfect location to explore sacred sites , however Butterfly Cottage dwells on its own beautiful and mystical land complete with secret gardens , stone circles and a labyrinth!! Awesome 😀Excellent hosts so helpful and inspiring… the studio is gorgeous and so well equipped with everything you could need for a nourishing break …. The staff from the owner, reception, housekeeping, and kitchen could not have been friendlier, helpful and were all more than welcoming. The rooms are spotless, they have all the things you might need and more. The restaurant has excellent food and very reasonably priced. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more and look forward to going back to enjoy the atmosphere soon.
