Nice comfortable big house. Wood central heating which worked perfect and which was needed because it frooze a few nights. 2 bathrooms and a bath. Nice rural area. Got some help with a flat tire, much appreciated. We had a great time, now of to see more of the beautiful country.

A very nice hotel with exceptional staff. Very welcoming. The room was perfect and the bed comfy. It was very quiet. The food in the restaurant was very good. There was ample parking at the front of the hotel.

Located in Ballyhaunis, in a historic building, 11 km from Knock Shrine, 'James Lyons' The old main St is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and terrace.

The host is the most hardworking man I've ever met, very polite, cares about his guests, always comes around to make sure his guests are good, always available, gives you all the information, help and support you need. Very focused, organised, hardworking with a smile on his face. You need anything? He's a call away. The hotel has everything to make you feel at home...away from home and that includes a surveillance camera to keep the property secure and make the guests feel safe. The hotel is adjacent to the Bus stop, a stone throw to the train station, and few minutes walk to basic amenities like supermarkets, pharmacy, eatery, you name it. Not too many spots in the centre of Tuam. This was ideally located within a few mins walk of major pubs etc. Spotlessly clean, a drop of milk in the fridge so you could make a cuppa, the small things matter. Easy to check in with a lock box, so no need to be working around the providers schedule, you can check in when it suits you. Heat was perfect, very warm and we could adjust it not to mention warm and welcoming inside overall. Small details mean alot, hot water bottle on the bed in case you're a cold person and need that bit extra.Bathroom was fully kitted out with shampoos etc in case you forgot anything. Kitchen had all you would need, two ring cooker plus most utensils you'd need to cook if you were in the mood. Would defo recommend and would defo use again if staying in Tuam.
