What a lovely town.
What a lovely town. Went into Eugens for a whiskey tasting would highly recommend it. Eugene is a great guy thought me how to drink Irish Mist correctly, it was delicious. Paid a visit to the Falls hotel had a lovely irish coffee. The view of the cascades from the hotel are stunning. Attended an after wedding event at Pot Duggans what a great place. Absolutely amazing property and one heck of a great...
Absolutely amazing property and one heck of a great breakfast. Our host I forget the gentlemans name welcomed my daughter and I into this beautiful property. At breakfast he gave us the history on the Station House which was very interesting and educated us on the history of the building. Our accommodations were spectacular and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great WiFi & parking right in the front. Do not hesitate if you’re in this area. I forgot to mention in my first review that our bed was so comfortable. And even though we had a difficult time in the beginning locating our room, we really did enjoy our stay. The view is stunning. The town is so sweet and quaint and charming. Everything was wonderful. The only thing was locating our room was a bit tricky. And a few of the Spa staff were kind enough to help us or point us in the correct direction to our room and our meals and drinks at the hotel bar was wonderful delicious and lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful.Guest review byMelanieUnited States - 10.0
Ennistymon is my mother's family home.
Ennistymon is my mother's family home. On the anniversary of her death, we travelled there to celebrate her home and life. The town has changed a lot and is very welcoming to visitors. Amazing food is served in a fantastic eatery Byrnes. A great night with live music at Cooleys. The West coast of Clare is a true jewel in Ireland's crown. If you want to see Ireland at it's best and meet the loveliest and friendliest folk... then it is your destination. We did not want to leave.Guest review byAnnUnited Kingdom

He very kindly offered (with no prompting at all) to give us a lift into town so that we could have a nice dinner and offered to pick us up afterwards. A truly kind soul. There was no breakfast at the hotel which we knew about in advance but Gerald came up trumps again and recommended Foodie Korner in Ennistymon which was excellent. Our room was clean and tidy. When we got there, there was little treats for herself and board games and toys left out for her. Such a thoughtful thing and meant a lot to her and even though we didn’t meet Dan himself, she kept saying about the nice man who left her toys. It’s very close to ennistymon so you’re a quick drive from the shop but yet feels very rural coz there’s horses outside your kitchen window.Guest review byislaIreland
