Lovely staff, room, well appointed. As it's an old classic hotel it has some narrow hallways and other charming features. The dining room is fresh and bright. Hot breakfast choices were varied, along with fresh fruit salad, kiwis, scones. Etc

Highly recommended. Stayed in a 3 bed appartment. Loved the balcony, kitchen well equipped and dishwasher was useful. Decoration was lovely. Bedrooms good quality bedding comfortable beds. Great location, ensuite and main bathroom very clean and the toiletaries a lovely surprise. Staff friendly and professional. Checking in and out quick and easy. Door key cards provided for each guest. Cafe next door does a lovely breakfast.

    I found Leitrim to be what I yurned for.

    I found Leitrim to be what I yurned for. Tranquil old Irish villages with extremely friendly people. Far from the hustle and bustle of city life. I left technology behind and was greeted by the cead mile failte. People here are only too happy to help and no one minds a little chat. Interesting people and the craic are central to a visit to Leitrim villages. If you only can do 5 star accommodation and can't put your technology away this may not be for you. Walk the canals, visit the castles but make sure to talk to the people. If you can't find any, they'll be in the pub!!!

    The place was just right for my family of six, plenty of...

    The place was just right for my family of six, plenty of room to sleep, hang out and spend alone time when needed. The host thought of everything…Lots of activities to do, in and out of the home. We enjoyed the walk to the lake and down town Leitrim. Our challenge at times was hot water.. it seemed after few showers, we ran out of hot water and therefore the whole family couldn’t shower at the same time. Our lovely host could have helped resolve this issue but we were too busy to slow down and ask. All in all the place is beautiful and would like to stay there again next time we visit Leitrim.

    We were there for St Patrick's Day.

    We were there for St Patrick's Day. Enjoyed the parade and loved that the whole community got involved. Nice bars snd restaurants. And plenty of things to see and do in tbe surrounding areas, especially the Arigna coal mines.

    Leitrim is a very small city and we only stayed for one...

    Leitrim is a very small city and we only stayed for one night. It was very difficult to find a place to eat :( I'm a vegetarian and one place was still serving food, but they didn't have anything I could eat. The other place had already closed the kitchen on a Sunday at 7.30 PM and there were only drunk men hanging around in those places... We had to get takeaway pizza in the end but that wasn't very good either, unfortunately. I don't think there is much you can do there during the day but it's surely easy to get around.

    Beautiful walks and cycle track along the canal.

    Beautiful walks and cycle track along the canal. Lovely villages and towns. Nice restaurants especially The Jacaklope in The Shed Distillery Drumshanbo. Great activities available on Lough Allen. Not far from Stairway to Heaven walk.
