This is a perfect hideout if you like rural living, animals and starry skies. The hosts welcome you with open arms and the whole family takes time out of their day to add that much to your stay. The hosts have multiple animals (from very friendly and playful dogs to farm animals) and we got a chance to pet them all. The location is secluded in the middle of the nature, which suited us very well. There is a kitchenette to save you from having to go out to eat. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped with toiletries beyond what you'd expect.

Very friendly hotel. Room was excellent. Had dinner, breakfast and lunch in the hotel. All meals were home cooked, tasty and served piping hot. Staff friendly and helpful.

The host is the most hardworking man I've ever met, very polite, cares about his guests, always comes around to make sure his guests are good, always available, gives you all the information, help and support you need. Very focused, organised, hardworking with a smile on his face. You need anything? He's a call away. The hotel has everything to make you feel at home...away from home and that includes a surveillance camera to keep the property secure and make the guests feel safe. The hotel is adjacent to the Bus stop, a stone throw to the train station, and few minutes walk to basic amenities like supermarkets, pharmacy, eatery, you name it. The whole stay in Lisalway Lodge was outstanding from arrival to leaving, the hosts Pam and Tommy were really flexible with us even though we arrived very late due to travel disruption. The whole house was amazing, clean, bright, well maintained, our suite was luxurious, the breakfast was so good, with a great choice, Tommy bakes the bread it was so delicious you’ll never taste anything like it, his scones are also delicious. We felt very well looked after and a little spoilt when our hosts found out it was our honeymoon. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, it’s everything you want and more including fantastic hosts
