Very comfortable room. Bernie is an excellent host. The kitchenette was an added bonus. Lots of thoughtful touches, such as breakfast items in kitchen fridge. An added bonus was the mini fridge, kettle etc in the bedroom. The house is a stone's throw from the harbour with beautiful views.

Nice traditional bed n breakfast. Lovely welcome from owner Helen. Gorgeous slice of home made apple tart and cup of tea to relax after my journey. Bed and room very quiet and comfortable. It was nice to stay in a little dignified Irish village like Silvermines. Far from the madding crowd of Dublin on my way to Shannon airport. I also felt my car was safe outside which is important to a driver. Helen was a chatty personable Irish host but not intrusive nor over familiar. I liked her professional approach.

Our room faced the lake, and it was beautiful! Room was spacious and very clean. Resort was busy and had many children guests, which was nice. Food was very good in bar area, and breakfast buffet was a great start to our day !

The Steeples Cafe was excellent.

The Steeples Cafe was excellent. We spent time catching up on the Irish newspapers in the library. A quiet spot. There was an excellent local exhibition in the council rooms. People were kind and helpful with directions.

Staying at Old Farm was a fantastic experience as it is beautiful and cosy. Margaret and Alfie were very friendly and helpful. From the minute I arrived I was welcomed and they looked after me very well. All the guests become part of the family! Breakfasts, with fresh laid eggs and homemade bread and jams, and (optional) dinners with the hosts and other guests were a highlight. There was always excellent home-cooked food (with special attention to specific diets), great company, fun and interesting conversations. One day Alfie and a young girl guest made flat breads and a range of burgers, which was so nice to see and eat! Having the hens, ducks, lovable dogs and cats was a bonus. It's a very picture-book place, well positioned for access to many towns and sites of interest, but peaceful as a retreat too. I was also able to work online from there too. Can't wait to go back.

I loved Nenagh. My grandfather was from there.

I loved Nenagh. My grandfather was from there. One thing I really like about Nenagh is the bustling high street full of authentic shops, and not loads of chain stores and identikit places like they have in the UK. It is a good place for people who like walking and outdoor activities.

Fabulous property close to Nenagh. Excellent facilities with separate kitchen and sitting room, leading to large gardens. This was ideal for our dogs who loved it too. Bedrooms upstairs were very comfortable both with en-suites and again well equipped. Welcome pack of milk, various foods and wine was a great touch and very very nice.

We stayed in Cluain Caoin as we were attending a wedding in a nearby Ashley Park Hotel. The place is spotless. Our host Cora was exceptionally kind and accommodating. I couldn't praise her enough! I would highly recommend it as a place to stay.
