It soothes the nerves and does wonders for one's health. If you a lover of busy (and noisy) nightlife, this is not a place for you. An hour or less by car to Ein Gedi, the Dead Sea, S’dom, Beit Guvrin, Mamshit, and many more historical and natural wonders. A small town with a great connection to Jerusalem and Mesada. Even on Sabbath you find a nice bar and Supermarkets open in walking distance from our accomodation. Its great for a short stay to visit Mesada (we went to west-side entrance) and to take a day trip to Dead Sea. From Arad you can either go back north or continue to south.. however, after two nights you find that Arad itself doesnt offer much more to discover..Guest review byJanGermany - 10.0

newly renovated - super clean - well equipped - amazing jacuzzi - most welcoming We had a lovely stay at Bashiri's place! Very friendly and hospitable host who made us feel most welcome immediately. Got a side room (in 1-floor building section) with partial view to the desert. Also it was a week before sep 1 and a lot of kids, it was surprisingly quiet. The hotel stuff was polite and and willing to help in case I asked them to.
