Ajmer is an old city and the area near the railway station/hotel is poor and dilapidated. This will challenge some tourists. Not all local people are friendly but many are very friendly, helpful and curious about where you come from. I am female and was travelling on my own and found Ajmer to be a safe city. The Khwaja Muin-ud-din Chishti dargah and neighbouring bazaar streets are fascinating to see and a highlight of my trip!!!!!!Guest review byDohertyAustralia - 2.0

The stay was excellent as the room size, location , mattress, house keeping room service was very good. I want say about reception boy who works excellent , very gentle and also very helpful for us. Location of the hotel is great if Dargah is your main visit.
