We had an enjoyable stay with delicious food. My husband was french and we had requested less spicy food and they accommodated every request of us. Clint was extremely generous and helpful to give us suggestion for food and tourism including early morning boat ride. We enjoyed every bit of his suggestion. Auto driver was beyond helpful and kind, he attended to every request of us. The food at local restaurants exceed our expectations and we were overwhelmed with them and affectionate and super kind.

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing garden and swimming poll area on the lake shores! Staff is so helpful and friendly. They helped us a lot with some ginger mixture when we had stomach issue. Gorgeous, indian decor, clean and spacious room (better book the one with lake view), good breakfast. Quite pricy but you have to pay for good standard in India. Nothing within walking distance (not an issue, just FYI), perfect for relax and doing nothing. :)

We found a little corner of paradise here. The garden is incredibly beautiful and curated, in front of the beach with beautiful hammocks and a lovely dog. The rooms are large, clean, and quiet, away from the noise of the city. The host, Daniela, and Jackson are super helpful and nice! Daniela helped us big time with several services (ATMs, Sim card, etc.) that we needed when arriving to India. 100% recommend 👌

Modern spacious room with aircon and comfortable bed ,en suite bathroom/toilet. Excellent location with terrace at back leading directly onto the beach. One of the receptionists Roy was extremely friendly and went above and beyond the call of duty to help provide information about queries I had. Breakfast is served in the room terrace with views into the beach. Adjacent to a less busy bit of Alleppey beach. Several good restaurants/bars nearby.

I absolutely love the staff. The location, the cleanliness. The beach is nearby which is great to walk too especially at sunset and there are some good cafes nearby also. If you require anything the staff are always willing to help and organize things for you.

One thing I want to bring to the notice of the government authorities is that, almost all the house boat people are throwing kitchen garbage waste into the river water and already hyacinth started growing at most of the areas. Pl instruct all the boat owners to maintain proper dustbins and not to throw even a small piece of paper into the river. Afterall. It is because of this river water or back waters what ever u call , your business is going on and some thousands of people are getting employment. It is your minimum duty to protect the river, only then you will be protected. Pl take some necessary action in this regard. Other than this I have nothing to say about alleppey and the word awesome is a very small word to describe my family's enjoyment in this trip.thank you alleppey

    Ours was a stopover on the way to Trivandrum.

    Ours was a stopover on the way to Trivandrum. We left around 6.30 am and took the Alleppey Changanachery road. It was a wonderful experience of around 21 KMs straight highway with water on both the sides of the road.

    Trying to choose what boats to rent on line was mind boggling, ask your hotel advise and arrange through them. We found, shikkara boat ride, 14:30 to 18:30, amazing. Then, next day, 11 AM to 5 PM day house boat, also amazing.

    Interesting area, but to be honest everything was the same , coconut trees on the river banks, nothing really to do so a nice time to just relax & watch the world go by but could do it with a day trip

    Some wonderful views. It's a safe area. Some of the prices are very low and the food is excellent. Two days is enough in Kochi, one day enough in Athirapilly, three days Munnar, three days Kumily. We finished off with seven days in Alleppy which was a day too long. Research on accomodation essential. Don't be frightened of homestays or eating out but be careful and wash your hands properly and often especially after handling food. Bargain down trips and purchases but not too much; people are poor and sometimes desperate for work - don't take advantage by arguing ovr £1!!!

    Lakefront experience, inland from Kochi and slightly different. Less infrastructure. Ok place to be if you are not in a hurry. Quite muggy but that is to be expected for the region. If you like the idea of a houseboat, look into it. Land based accommodations are variable.

    We spent 3 nights in Alleppey haven beach villa. From the moment we arrived to our departure, we were made to feel very welcome. Alina on reception (hope i have the right name) and the manager Clint were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble (ordering autos etc), always a smile and a chat. Also enjoyed the pool, although it could do with a little more shade which Clint promised was on its way.

    Our 4 days stay in Havana was nothing less than a dream trip, Location is ❤️ it's right infront of the beach, we can even watch sunset from the room. the location is exceptional. One of the best part is they serve homemade authentic Kerala breakfast n dinner. Subin, Sunil, Nobel all were very helpful. They were just a call away. If you are in Alleppey and a beach lover then this is the place to be.

    The family is very friendly and super helpful. I feel profoundly indebted with them for everything they did for me iny short stay. The house is located in a very good, clean and safe neighbourhood, close to everything someone could need in Alleppey. This is the places where I felt the safest and best in entire Kerala. I would stay here if I would visit Alleppey again. Thanks a lot for everything!

    Lovely accommodation in Alleppey, Akshar was an extremely welcoming and polite host. He helped us arrange transportation and the boat ride and made us feel at home, bless him. The hostel is 2 min away from a lovely beach with no waves. The sunset view is magnificient.
