The Osian camel safari was one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Rajasthan. I was welcomed with so many happy smiles, amazing food, lots of tea and an amazing experience. The family who runs this place are such pure hearted and beautiful people who made sure that we felt like apart of the family for the night we were there. I am so happy about the service this family gave us with such a welcoming and excited attitude.

I spent nearly a week with Sumer and his family and it was such an incredible experience. Nowhere else have I been in India that has so truly embodied the sentiment of “mi casa es su casa…“ the amount of generosity and warmth from not only the family but also from everyone else in the village was so special. It was sometimes hard to go for a walk as I was always getting invited in for a chai, food, or game with kids! The homestay provides such a beautiful space to reconnect with your surroundings, and I left with a sense of immense gratitude and peace from the time spent there (as well as a couple extra kilos from the incredible cooking). The rooms are beautiful and you can sleep under the stars at night if you choose. It’s a great place to experience a traditional Rajasthani village lifestyle and easily accessible from Jodhpur.
