I think that this is the best hotel and restaurant in Katra. The chef really knows what he’s doing. Our Indian dinners over several nights were superb. Mr. Bisht, the hotel manager, helped us through our travel problems some small, some requiring expert advice with his full attention. His staff was always there for us. The best central location. Thank you Hotel Ambica Katra!

The hotel's proximity to the Yatra Counter was incredibly convenient for our Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. The Punjabi food at their restaurant was authentic and delicious, a true treat after a long journey.
