Perfect location - close to everything - restaurants, yoga studios, shopping, the ganga.. the view of the ganga from my room was so beautiful! So lovely to watch it with a nice cup of tea. The bed was super comfy, great shower, friendly & helpful service - really enjoyed my stay!

7th Heaven Inn Rishikesh was truly a piece of heaven. The rooms are spacious, filled with glorious light, quiet and remarkably clean. The aesthetic touches in the rooms are just right; and there are bedside lamps, which are too often missing in hotels in India. I also really appreciated that there were no TVs in the rooms (or phones, for that matter)--one feels as if one has entered another, more expansive era. After all, there is plenty to look at from the balcony! The staff members are warm and attentive, and the food is made fresh. Kalam, the manager, is a lovely person-- welcoming and accommodating. He facilitated a shift in rooms after I'd added another day in Rishikesh. Because my stay overlapped with the International Yoga Festival and most guests were getting their yoga fixes elsewhere, I pretty much had the hotel yoga studio to myself, which felt luxurious. Lastly, the location is perfect: tucked away and yet minutes walking to restaurants, cafes, shops, and about a 15-minute walk to Ram Jhula. I'm very happy to have found this place--will certainly stay again. Many thanks to Kalam and 7th Heaven!

The location, right on the banks of the Ganges, the helpful warm staff, and the food and service, is an asset and joy! There’s no better place than this in Rishikesh.

I went to Rishikesh with an open mind to witness the might...

I went to Rishikesh with an open mind to witness the might of the Ganges River, see the temples and join my wife in the participation of the Aarti Ceremony. There are the local habits, roving animals and crazy traffic that may annoy a lot of visitors. But I chose to rise above those and focus on the rituals, temples, monuments, daily activities, Ashrams (retreats) and the view of the Rishikesh valley. The flow of the Ganges and the 3 cable bridges (Ram Jhulla, Lachman Julla, and Janki Jhulla), and the chanting with the ceremonies in the evenings were mesmerizing, humbling and a joy to the soul. I felt blessed to be there.

Had a wonderful experience at The Hosteller Upper Tapovan. The staff was incredibly polite and welcoming. The cafeteria was great, the food was delicious, and the views were absolutely stunning. Highly recommended!

Spending time by the Ganga was wonderful—great food (especially near Parmarth Niketan), calm beaches, and plenty of places to explore. The only downside was that some groups of youngsters were there just to smoke and drink, which can spoil the vibe. My advice: double-check your stay before booking so you don’t run into that issue.

Been there before . This time I wanted a pooja done . The Panditji I was recommended by the security guard at Triveni ghat , was par excellence. Ganga Aarti at Haridwar is a once in a lifetime experience. The Rikshaw drivers are nice as well. Willing to wait while you finish what you want to . Rishikesh is surreal .

Beautiful town, you need to find your own way and vibe. Usually, people are nice. Please go there for solace and silence, not for a party and loud music! Also, please don't honk if you are driving your own car.

The hotel is located at the end so its around 1km away from centre of Tapovan. It's a nice property with very cordial staff. Cleanliness was good and food is reasonable as well as tasty... They have a open terrace where you can sit and chill around. Lots of adventurous activities can be booked as they have proper contact with the agencies... Only problem is accessibility as you will have to walk a lot and the way to the hotel is a 200m steep walk ip a hill from the road. Overall a nice place to stay.

The room was big and well equipped. The view from my balcony was a bliss. And the staff was very helpful for payment and to guide me through Tapovan. It was difficult to find the hotel and it's kind of remote from the center of Tapovan and the slope is very stiff to reach the hotel, if you can ride a bike to go there, it'll be better for your legs :) It was very calm and silent though. if I ever come back to Rishikesh, I'll book this hotel room again for sure.

Great location. Close to the bridge or water taxi to take you to the older part of Rishikesh. Many good restaurants, shops and tour operators within a very quick walk. Hotel hangs over a cliff that overlooks Ganges River. Good a view as it gets in that area. Very wide and covered balcony. Great view from their cafe.... food was good. View from cafe is just as good as other more well-known businesses, such as the Beatles Cafe, but is much less crowded.

I stayed there for 3 days. The hotel was clean, location was also good and the staff members especially Amit bhaiya and Shubham both were awesome. The hotel ambience and yes the food was very tasty with reasonable prices that you won't need to travel anywhere if you don't wanna go out. The kitchen members were polite and humble. They served the food with decently. Overall I'll definitely go there without a second thought if I visit Rishikesh again :)
