The personal and courteous service from the polite staff at Willow Hill will always be fondly remembered. Mr. Laxminarayanan, a true hospitality industry professional, met us on arrival and handled our check-in. His presence at the main desk was re-assuring. Willow Hills appears to be a recently built property. Therefore all facilities were new and in working order. Everything worked perfectly, including the internet, telephone, electricity, plumbing, elevators etc. (Ooty has number of 'heritage hotels' with woefully inadequate service facilities which has ruined many a short stays). We drove to Ooty and the hotel provided spacious parking facility for private cars. We were assigned the Cypress Room, which had the view of the mountains and the green valley, that was both pleasing and invigorating. The spacious interiors were tastefully fitted out. The large king size bed had comfortable mattress and pillows. The black-out curtains were greatly appreciated. The hotel included breakfast and dinner along with cost of accommodations. This was a welcome gesture on their part. The quality of dining offered at the 'Bird of Paradise' restaurant with excellent, with high marks for service and quality to their Chef, Mr. Joyce. I found him and his staff to be hardworking and keenly interested in delivering excellent quality to the guests.

We stayed here for several nights. The room was really nice and clean, and had a small balcony with a beautiful view overlooking Ooty. Though they do not have their own laundry service, they arranged for someone to come and pick up our laundry for us. They also arranged a tour to Mudumalai Tiger Reserve for us. The only downside of this place is the lack of eating facilities/included breakfast, however there are several locations close to it for good food.

Every thing about it. The Staff were very courteous,Pleasent & helpfull. The Caretaker Mr Satish & other Staff Mr Godwin & Mr Vikram were very good & it gave us very positive vibes. I would definitely suggest this place to my friends when they visit Ooty next time. Good luck.

The location of the hotel is a just perfect . Being in the main city but away from the hustle and bustle . The property is beautiful. The staff were courteous and very helpful ( though they were definitely understaffed for the Diwali long weekend crowd) . Breakfast was sumptuous and had ample options.

The place was stunning, the room and the view outside was incredible. The service was top notch. We were asked several times what we needed and food and refreshments were available to us whenever we wished for. The bonfire was also available on demand, which we took benefit of on two nights of our stay. Faizal, the owner, was always available on call and WhatsApp and ready to cater to our needs. The stunning view and great service just won us over.

All in all a wonderful stay. The resort is in the middle of the tea plantations, beautiful scenery and absolutely quiet. You can enjoy nature. Very warm welcome, you immediately felt welcome. The complex and the chalets are fantastic. Breakfast and dinner outstanding. But it lives from the staff, simply outstanding. Even the chef gave valuable tips. It wasn't the last time I was here.

    Our visit was essentially to setoff mental ill-health. which was achieved during our stay in Ooty, more particularly at Fortune Resorts. The behavior of the staff at Front Desk, Restaurant and House keeping was very cordial.

    The place is nothing compared to Munnar (been there 6 times). The city is too crowded, dirty, and full of disgusting restaurants. There's not much to see outside the city as well as the place is barely 1000m from sea level. Do not go there expecting stunning mountain top views, cloud-covered peaks, or beautiful meadows. Even the tea estates looked dry, uneven, and neglected. The hotels are overpriced! For people who have never been to Ooty, don't be fooled by the "Ooty hype". 10x better and cheaper to visit Munnar.

    Good place in early summer during April, the weather is just perfect. People are helpful welcoming and food is good. everything what we need for a perfect outing is here, beautiful places for sightseeing, just can be bit over priced, but it's worth and is homely. You will feel sad while returning as you may love the place.

    Doddabetta peak was very interesting.

    Doddabetta peak was very interesting. So was the Botanical gardens. Boating in the lake had very few options. Only large motor boat and large canoe. Nothing in between. These boats we very large and expensive for the 3 of us.

    The climate of Ooty is amazing.

    The climate of Ooty is amazing. Having your own vehicle makes it easy to move around. Not a problem even if you dont- Rickshaws available, walking around the town is fun. Botanical garden, Karnataka garden are the famous gardens to visit. Can spend almost the whole day relaxing there. Tea and Chocolate factory is also a tourist spot. Boating at Ooty lake is expensive and not very exciting. Moddys cafe is chocolate/desert place. Do not miss it. Out of ooty one can visit pykara peaks,boat house and shoot spots. Walking around in Ooty town is also fun. Dodda Betta Peak is also a nice spot to visit.
