Lighthouse Inn is a cozy place in a serene, indescribable environment. Its set in the tip of the peninsula, near a picturesque lighthouse perfect for observing northern lights. Stuff was extremely kind and helpful, always with a smile. The ambient is so cozy, with wooden walls and cute decorations. Room was very clean and nice, with a decent sized bathroom and very nicely decorated. There was a fridge in the room, and a coffee and tea station which was very convenient. Breakfast was delicious and diverse. We enjoyed every moment of our stay in the Lighthouse Inn and would have stayed there for so much longer if we could.

An amazing property located in Gardur on the Reyksjanes peninsula. We booked this place to be somewhere a bit quieter but still not too far from Reykjavik, and it fit the brief perfectly. Only around 10-15 mins drive from Keflavík airport and 1 hour from Reykjavik. Do keep in mind that there’s not really any reasonable public transportation links to the city, so you’d really want to have a car. The area is really beautiful and super peaceful. It’s just a stone’s throw from a lovely path along the shoreline of Flaxaflói bay. There aren’t really amenities in town, but there are plenty in Reyksjanesbær / Keflavík, about 15 mins drive away, as well as a couple of really great restaurants a few minutes away at the lighthouse. The house was clean, modern and very comfortable. Especially loved the shower and bath - having bath salts was a really nice touch! We didn’t personally meet Lukasz, but he was super friendly and responsive and kept us thoroughly informed. We arrived really early in the morning and without much sleep, and because the house was already available, he got it ready for us overnight so we could check-in right away. Absolutely A+ gesture. A really unforgettable stay that I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend.

We booked one transit night with late check in and very early check out, so airport proximity was a must. It's a taxi drive away (15 minutes) but it's so well located that we walked a few meters down the road to a 24/7 super market and were able to grab dinner despite the late hour.

The only downside with the hotel is the distance to the airport. It is ok in fine weather but not so good when it is extremely windy and raining heavily. An option for a shuttle would be good.

One of the best places to stay near the airport. Very comfortable and clean. Also has a rooftop heated pool which makes it easy to relax. The breakfast was fantastic and the beds are super comfy.

Gardur is a convenient location close to the airport. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, The access was easy with no stairs for brining in luggage. I liked the small town and visiting the lighthouses nearby. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again.

We stayed for six nights in one of the Gardur studios, which was a great place to spend our time in Iceland. The apartment was clean, fully equipped and cozy. We even managed to watch the northern lights from the window of our bedroom. Something that we will never forget. Margret is wonderful, always helpful in case you need. Thank you for everything

The Bay View apartment is a very special place, a big apartment with great style at the sea side. Unforgettable is the sight from the hot tub to the bay, but also the living room and kitchen are simply extraordinary. Gardur is a great base to visit the Reykjanes peninsula and as location nearby the airport. We loved it- and would like to come back!

We booked the apartments after a week in a Campervan and it couldn’t have been more perfect for a final night in Iceland! The interior is SO stylish and everything is thought of, from the spices in the kitchen to extra toiletries in the bathroom! Watching the snow come down whilst sat in the hot tub was the icing on the cake.

Nice big room, very comfy beds. Small and fine Hotel Lounge, the staff was great. Because of our early morning flight we got a breakfast to go. 15 min drive to Keflavik / Airport, walking distance to the lighthouses.
