United KingdomLovely room, right in the middle of town. Breakfast is in a different building, but literally less than 100m walk. Staff were incredibly kind to us, we arrived late on after a very long drive, and my son was very grumpy.

ChinaThe house is big and clean, American style. I extremely loves the vinyl records. The facilities in the kitchen is well-equipted and new too. I make a great dinner here. Kind owner.What's more, it is near to the beer factory bar. It is a good choice to have a beer with the family or friends at night !Wonderful stay.

This town is wonderful and quaint.
This town is wonderful and quaint. The setting is stunning, with mountains surrounding the entire town. The people there are very friendly, and it is easy to walk around. The streets have beautiful flower plantings, and there is a fun nughtclub where you can meet local townspeople. We highly recommend it!Guest review byLori - 10.0

Stayed two nights in this gem of a town. First night we camped and it was a fantastic campground. Second night was calling for snow so stayed in the hostel. Best Bonus grocery store we have seen with prices much less than anywhere else in Iceland.Guest review byKaraCanada - 10.0

The drive to Isafjorour we stopped at Dynjandi Waterfall called Thundering Waterfall. It is actually several waterfalls topped by a bridal veil large fall. Well worth the steep hike up. One of the most beautiful waterfall we visited in Iceland. The drive back toward Reykjavik was stunning along five fjords and many waterfalls. Glacier views. Lava fields. And mountains. So wanted to eat at Tjoruhusid. But needed a reservation and could not get in. Recommend making a reservation before you leave home.
