I was staying in Alessandria as a base to attend a wedding...
I was staying in Alessandria as a base to attend a wedding in a nearby town, so did not really do justice to visit all the possible sights. It seems a city with much cultural heritage including the cathedral and many churches. I had a great pizza meal at Ricci Le Nostre Pizza which was good value and I enjoyed it so much I went back there on my last night. Quiet location. I would say the price for this room during the peak of the Easter holiday was competitive. If you could drive an hour away from Milan or Genova (if those are your travel destinations), it is better to spend it in this hotel than some expensive but bad hotels in the main cities of Milan or Genova.
