The property is amazing, small and cosy. It´s close to the highway so you can easily go around and explore Tuscany. The owners are always available, very kind and thoughtful. We only stayed for a couple of days, i can easily imagine staying there for much longer time. Pool side was also very relaxed, with bar, so you can enjoy full day without missing anything. Good breakfast too.

Fantastic restaurant with a top Chef Igor and his amazing team 😊 with all ingredients sourced locally and veggies from a hotel garden where only organic / natural pesticides are used. We really enjoyed the cooking class with Chef Igor and few special dishes he prepared for us during our stay 🤗 I appreciate fully personalized approach of concierge. We had a yoga program arranged for us with amazing yoga instructor 🧘🏻‍♀️La Monastica is a perfect place for a little yoga retreat and rejuvenation. Finally the hotel is dog friendly 🐶 our dog did not want to leave home!! We will be back soon 😊❤️

    The great thing about Altopascio is that it is close enough to be able to do many day trips. Within an hour from Altopascio you can get to Cinque Terre (La Spezia specifically), you can go to Pisa, Florence and even San Gimignano, a beautiful borgo town

    We found ourselves at the hotel because our car broke down during our trip to Corsica and we had to deal with its repair. Nevertheless, we were delighted with the attitude of the staff - they were very helpful in solving our difficult situation. At the same time, the hotel has great charm, architectural detail and is in a city that is only a short distance from beautiful cities such as Pisa or Lucca. Thank you very much for a lovely stay.

    great location when travelling from Pisa to Florence and really close to Lucca. The pool is great but we didnt get chance to use it as it was a little cold! Good breakfast in the morning as well

    This is a very comfortable, clean hotel with great breakfast. The bathroom was new. The staff were wonderful. We started the Via Francigena walk from here so it was perfect.
