Amantea is a wonderful beach town.
Amantea is a wonderful beach town. It was very relaxed, and there are lots of public beaches between the Lidos. It was not mobbed with tourists. Hotel description doesn’t match reality. It’s old and worn and definitely not soundproof. There’s no reception for phone and WiFi doesn’t work. There was really strong bleach smell in the room and it didn’t get better. If you want to go to the pool you have to buy a cap and wear in the pool. Restaurant was old looking but with nice interior and really nice waiter, food was great and service brilliant. Also have to mention that one of the receptionist, only English speaking men was really helpful and kind🙂 Please be aware that the price list in the room may be different from actual charge. A few minutes walk to the beach or town centre, plenty of dining options. The hotel is clean and modern, comfortable rooms.
