We travelled to the Antholz Valley for a biathlon...
We travelled to the Antholz Valley for a biathlon competition. This is a nice quiet valley. There was a cultural adjustment for 7 pm dinners. Stores in the area are closed from 12-3 normally so we had to adjust our exploring times. We look forward to coming back when there is still snow on the ground. It was an unusually warm spring. There are only a few public restaurants for eating as most of the stays include breakfast and dinner. The chefs choose the menu. If have specific or limited dietary needs you might want to look for an AirBnB or expect to drive a bit for more options.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
This valley is beyond belief.
This valley is beyond belief. Go to the far end of the lake at the far end of the valley to watch the sunset, and then another day, continue up (7KM) the winding road into Austria, and see the lake on top. A very nice location.

For dinner extensive fresh buffet followed by high quality courses. The breakfast was incredible too with a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, cakes, eggs, bread, anything you can imagine.
