Spent the weekend in Buonconvento with my family as I was riding l'Eroica Montalcino in late May 2025. Had a great stay at Massimiliano's place: the apartment is super-comfy and has all the perks you'd expect (even more: it could make a great base to do some long-term workation actually!). Massimiliano was a superhero-kind-of-host, always available and even going the extra mile by planning an ad hoc MTB tour for my family. Definitely recommended!

It was a calm farmhouse. We had good rest during our vacation in Italy. I could see beautiful night sky & animals were also adorable. My 7 year old daughter loved swimming pool and animals. Serena and Mario was very kind and the dinner prepared by Serena was impressive :-) Also nearby horse school gave us another good memory!

    Podere Albereto is located in a quiet area and has the most fantastic views. The accommodation is clean and has modern appliances and anything you need to cook with. There is a water tap that has the best drinking water so no need to buy bottled. The bed was comfortable and air con worked when you needed it although it was cool all the time inside. There is a pool you can use and you also have your own private area with a bbq/oven. You are 20 min from Buonconvento and you can dine at the restaurant 10 mins walk from the agrituismo if you don't want to cook. Cinzia and Giorgio are great hosts and given the opportunity, would love to stay again.

    Very lovely little town with great shops and restaurants.

    Very lovely little town with great shops and restaurants. There are a few good small hotels. We were walking the Via Francigena when we stayed here. There is also a train station in town with trains to Siena and Firenze very convenient.

    Podere Cunina exceeded our expectations, so much that we readjusted the trip itinerary to enjoy an extra day at the place. In a excellent location with an unforgettable sunset, it’s a peaceful place to rest and relax from a everyday routine. The apartment is fully equipped, very clean and charming. The hospitality and cordiality of the owners Silvana, Giorgio and Marcello make the difference. We really recommend the WineTour and Cooking Class with Marcello, he is extremely kind and attentive. We hope to come back soon.

    Absolutely beautiful and enchanting property with the most wonderful view of Buonconvento! Staff were amazing and welcoming, you could tell it’s run with passion by the family. Delicious food was provided all day by staff (the lasagne was particularly delicious!) and was homemade, which helped give an authentic dining experience. Lovely atmosphere and loved our stay.

    Buonconvento is a fantastic place to take short trips to Val d'Orcia towns. It's cozy medieval town, yet with a few nice places to drink a morning coffee or evening prosecco. Not so many tourists either. Claudia welcomed us (even though it was late) and gave us a hug when we left. Apartment was very well equipped and clean.

    The hotel was very close to the town centre, the staff was very helpful. They even prepared packed breakfast for us as we were leaving vrry early. The room.had AC and there was a rack for clothes in the backyard. Everything was perfect. I really recommend this hotel.

    Just a few steps from the beautiful old town of Buonconvento, and a perfect base for exploring Val d'orcia. A very comfortable, freshly renovated flat with plenty of space. And a friendly and helpful host. We would have loved to stay here much longer!
