It is a lovely area with a multitude of beaches, friendly people, and plenty of restaurants. It is a long way from the airports, but the roads are good and so the 80 minute drive from Olbia isn't onerous. A parasol or some other sun shelter is a must (although it is possible to hire parasols on some beaches) - the sun is very intense and shade can be difficult to come across on many beaches, especially those accessible only by boat.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

It was a short 2-night stay at Cala Gonone in early April. There is so much to visit here in the region so I would like to return. Lovely beaches in Cala Gonone, romantic walks in the town, tasty meals in the welcoming restaurants. Nearby great walks to beaches where you can also get by regular boat trips. Historical sights, caves, the Gorropa canyon. There are only few tips. This is a must see place when in Sardinia!Guest review byMilenaSlovakia
