Its pricy as you only get the room. No svimingpool, spa or other high end hotel services you would expect. But what you do get you cant replace with unnessesary junk. You are visiting the dolomites - go hike! What you need is some really fantastic velmade food from the chef who makes the best carbonara outside rome (he used to work in rome), when you get Home after a day in the mountain. We NEVER eat at the hotel restaurant - but in Cortina this is the best price/value and service. A receptionist who gives you a hug when you pay hotel tax :-) and a smile every we meet, a perfect designed hotel experience in every detail, the most fantastic view in the room and the restaurant, helpfull and friendly Morning staff who gives you advice on where to go depending on the weather and least but not last the dynamic evening duo: Andrea and Roberto. The perfect examples of professional evening hosts. Roberto with his excellent service - at the same time professional and personal - and making things happens and Andrea the magician who made actually professional magic tricks. Impressive and the perfect match enjoying the quality wine list. Just go!

Alberto Chalet Lago was one of our more unique stays during our vacation. Right from the entrance, it displays a distinct character that remains in sync through the decor, the approach of the staff, and the room layout. The wood paneled rooms overlook the rich natural tapestry of Lake Antorno and the neighboring forested areas. Its proximity to the Tri Cima toll gate is a huge bonus and a major consideration for us prior to the booking. Answers to queries from us were very prompt, and their approach was positive. A big plus with the hotel is an excellent restaurant that serves authentic Italian food.

O liked everything. The hotel provides what it informs in the facilities itens. The front desk guy is the best person ever. The interior and rooms were absolutely fantastic! The vintage furniture beautifully restored from the last century added a unique charm to the place, with every detail carefully thought out, from the elegant parquet flooring to the stylish cast-iron radiators. The atmosphere was incredibly cozy, especially with the charming spindle in the recreation room. Any questions encountered were promptly resolved by the attentive staff. The complimentary buses to the ski lifts were a convenient perk, and the availability of free parking made our stay even more hassle-free. Our spacious room (double) was impeccably clean, and we appreciated how warm and inviting it was. Breakfast options catered to both sweet and savory preferences. The freshly baked bread, accompanied by a selection of cheeses and prosciutto, was a delightful start to the day. While I missed having vegetables, the sweet breakfast seemed to offer a wide array of choices, as highlighted in other reviews.

    The hotel is located in the real nature...if you are looking the hotel near to Tre Cime this is place to stay. We were here during the Giro d'Italia and it was a perfect place to start our cycling adventure to Tre Cime. The personel was extremly friendly, they offerd us lunch boxes because we made check out early in the morning.

    Quirky. What I liked the most is that the whole experience is the closest I ever got to the famous Overlook Hotel from Kubrick's Shining. The isolated mountain location, the old, tired decor and furniture, the strange room number ordering. The personnel.

    This hotel was chosen for its proximity to Tre Cime. The bar downstairs was a godsend after a days hiking. It was central to Dobbiaco, Cinque Torri and Cortina.
