Isabella cooked us an anniversary meal and served us in the tower. This was the absolute BEST ITALIAN FOOD we have ever had!!! She went way over and beyond to make it very very special for us. I stay at this hotel for years now. Every time I go to visit family , the staff are always polite and helpful. This time, the gentleman , Saturday night glasses gray beard, was so help in getting us a taxi to leave to Florence, he kept phoning and made sure we got our taxi, very grateful to him as we were leaving that night to go to pisa, , thank you so much, appreciated

We liked staying at Tenuta La Borriana. The rooms are clean. The infinity swimming pool provides a great relaxation for the kids and they enjoyed it the most there. The location is great, with wine yards surrounding the hotel and great views. Food at the restaurant was good. Breakfast decent. Other food options are about 7-10 mins away. Stay at the hotel will need you to have a car since the location is not near eateries and shops.

This is our 2nd time this year staying at San Michele . Its a charming family run hotel comfortable and simple. The staff there could not be more attentive or helpful. Carmingnano is a really nice village with a few good local restaurants and bars away from the pulsating throng of Florence and incredible art and culture which is not far away.

The host at the hotel was lovely. It has a wonderfully friendly family feel. Like you are being welcomed into someone’s home. Very Italian. My friend and I loved it! There is also a restaurant which door which serves utterly delicious food. It was a great find. We’d go back for sure. The rooms are a brilliant size and very comfortable.

Great place among the hills, very nice, really! The owner is welcoming, the room and toilet are clean and warm, an inner space to park in. And silence, just the birds chirping, a soft wind. Far away the lights on the plains between Pistoia, Prato and Florence.
