It was beautiful. Lovely views from the room. The staff was so so nice (and went out of their way when I left items at the hotel). Can walk to the cable car in champoluc to Crest. You can take many nice hikes directly from Champoluc. And it has parking!

    It could have more restaurants and services, but it is good as well as it is. Remember to book restaurant and taxi in advance and You should be ok. No huge party or disco experience, but I came to ski - so it was ok.

    Antagnod is a lovely town with a small resort perfect for beginners and families. The Kramerthal restaurant was excellent, highly recommend their pizzas and Val d'Aostan specialties. An absolute delight.

    We had a 5-day skiing holiday in Monterosa right after New...

    We had a 5-day skiing holiday in Monterosa right after New Year. This is definitely a high season there: booking was necessary for dinner everywhere, also recommended for lunch in the mountains. And the bookings need to be made early! I would recommend to visit Monterosa off-season instead of high season like we did. The ski lift capacity is not optimal when there is a lot of people. There are too many bottle necks with only 2-seat chair lifts in the area. Also the ski lifts in general are old and not very comfortable - do not wait for heated seats like in Austrian ski resorts. Too much time spent in queing intead of skiing. I assume this place is much better when it is not so crowded.

    We loved how empty the slopes were, it is a wonderful resort of 4 connected ski resorts. Loved it and will be back. We went to the spa at the Monterosa Thermes one day and that was a nice break too!

    A great resort with plenty of restaurants and bars.

    A great resort with plenty of restaurants and bars. It suited us as a family with adult children. The skiing was great. We are intermediate skiers, and there is a tough black run to access the majority of the pistes, therefore not so good for beginners. It was very quiet and no queues, with except of Saturday wheb the town and the pistes were very busy.

    Unfortunately it was not clear on the Booking.com website that the accommodation rate was on a bed and breakfast basis only. To upgrade to half board I was charged £29 per day which I thought was excessive considering the poor quality of the evening meals. I shall be very wary of booking via Booking.com in future

    Great family hotel with passion for people. Welcoming and friendly on all aspects. Hotel itself is located in Lignod 5km access to Monterosa ski on free Ayas shuttle bus. Style is of a warm and mountain deco from Valle d'Aosta. Also the family offer a great dinner option (la nonna e zia in cucina). A value for money set menu healthy and tasty. Well done and keep doing it. Ciao.

    Lovely hotel, great location for those able to walk a lot. Difficult for a family with children as there is no restaurant for the evening meals. Especially in winter this would be a problem. The restaurants in town would be too far to walk in snow and parking in town is not easy.
